Looking at some illegal resellers of PLP accounts, they now are stating a disclaimer of must be used with a new zealand VPN. Prior to the bannings, i'm sure they wasn't a disclaimer.
I emailed CS as well and they told me to phone them from a NZ, philipines or Taiwan phone number. Perhaps i shouldn't have used the example number on my signup.

Call them from a private number and say you have that as standard
I've also been suspended from PLP. I suspect the people in the offices of PLP are reading this and laughing.
I used to work somewhere where people would try to scam us and put it all over a popular money forum. We used to try to track people down that had posted on the site and ban them.

It's Thursday work day time in NZ now so I guess they'll be cranking up those emails .
I wonder how big an actual indigenous audience they have to watch games which
either kickoff at 3am local time or when most fans will be at or on their way to work
on Tuesday mornings.
As i said earlier i think its wrong to presume that this is anything to do with any particular dns service or vpn in my opinion i think this may have more to with address details or billing methods/addresses etc
I think the PLP suspended accounts are related to the accounts created using Taiwan price with discount code as people are using New Zealand DNS/VPN to access the account instead of a Taiwan DNS/VPN
