Terms and conditions do not allow a company to override consumer law. They can put what they like in their terms and conditions but that doesn't mean it is legally enforceable
Who's consumer law? We are covered in the UK and EU under the SOGA and European Consumer Law, as well as the consumer credit act and many other laws... however most "civil" laws are only enforceable if your in that country when making the purchase. So in effect you will be covered by NZ consumer law - better get on the case and see what they are.

That contract is fairly standing and by agreeing to the terms of that you have 2 consenting parties. They are technically allowing access so long as you can prove you are a resident of the area they serve. You agreed to these terms.

As for being from the EPL, what a load of rubbish. Like most people who have observed these systems for years, the risk of blockage and losing funds always needs to be considered. Its not rocket science as a bit of research into AJ last season would have shown what can happen.

Yeah, it works on my Android device as well.

Getting the error only on my pc.
Maybe they're just updating the website or something. Wouldn't be the first time.

I imagine the chargebacks will go through no issue. To be honest there are no legal restrictions on dns services, there's nothing stopping people in new Zealand from using them. Who is to say you don't visit/work over there from time to time and want to catch up on the epl while you are there. They are within their rights to refuse service and not offer refund but at the same time how can the card company refuse the chargeback if you bought and paid for the service while visiting/working there.

There's my two pennies worth

Its unotelly.

They've been geoblocked!

Went to the fr site and it tells it straight up rather than error.

I'm using unotelly with my android device, it's most likely the website being updated.

Sorry to say I' watching on the website.

The player has been updated with some protection. That explains why the apps are working.

Player has been updated too, slider, volume etc.

Once again, NBC is flawless, broadcast quality on ipad to Apple TV. Superb!
Has anyone else tried airplay from the nbc sports extra app? I get an error 90% of the time saying 'an error occurred loading this content. Try again later'. The app crashes a lot too, but not until after the 15 second advert has played of course.

I managed to get some golf running on the big tv via airplay a couple of times but it's hit and miss.. i could see this being really annoying come matchday.

It works well from the website and on iphone, but airplay is not working well for me so far.

Yes I tried unotelly at first. Not working. Even trialed a few of the main services. Not working. Used my expensive but reliable backup service which I'll not name and it was working.

If no one believes me when/if you get it working again you'll see the player is updated.

If it was down from them the arabs would be complaining on twitter. Not a peep.

edit- as I said. The fr site tells it like it is with a geoblocked message. So does the AR site.

Yeah I believe you.
I just asked a friend from UAE and it works for him too.
I guess they have found a solution to block smartdns services.

Yep sucks. Get all our money and roll out the blocks.

Also upon my research, I came up on sites with every language under the sun discussing and quoting DS forums. So that's why I'm not revealing anything. Would get ruined.

Best option is too keep hush about which services we are getting and who we use.

Imagine if you could access it without a vpn.... That would be good!

Oh give it up with your smug comments and grow up. Can't wait for the day it goes tits up for you and it will as karma always strikes.
The relevant services are working on the issue.

Still doesn't work for me. I suppose it was only $6 but would have been interesting
to see their coverage.
How did you get it for only $6? When i try to subscribe it costs more like $16? (1000 indian rupees)

I got the one day pass and was really impressed with the quality of the stream

I have the same thing with BBC iPlayer. Everything else works perfectly, and air playing is no problem at all, apart from on the iPlayer app.
I live in Denmark, but have tried it via both DNS and VPN services, and with my AppleTV connected via Wifi and Ethernet... Still no joy. it's pretty annoying and I've even had my AppleTV replaced recently, and that didn't solve the problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

In the first few days of launch, Star spots had a special season-long subscription offer for Rs400 (about $6).
