Has anybody managed to get English only audio on any of the football league live matches via flash?

I get the options for audio 1 or audio 2 but I can't change them and I get both English and Arabic audio at the same time!!! Only get Arabic on the apple app with no options to change it.
Click the "watch now" button in the schedule section, then choose audio. I also had problems earlier, when I used the channel buttons at the top.

I'm very happy with the AJ stream quality, I watched Yeovil v Birmingham, and now Liverpool v Celtic, both as good as sky sd quality. I have a 6 meg line, using a mid range HTPC via 50" TV, no buffering for either match

Edit- No Newcastle match on tonight

Anyone had any luck with the AJS iPad app?

Loaded up a stream the very first time, but now refuses to load anything else up. Hopefully its a bug in the app.

I had some issues with it as well but I did see several people say that if you go and play a YouTube video and then go back to the AJS app it sorts it out. Worth a go .

Does anyone know if you can change the e-mail that you sign into AJS with? I have been trying but not had any luck so I might have to wait until my month subscription ends and then just create a new account.

the Al Jazeera streams are approximately 10 seconds ahead of plus1hd.com streams on the soccer. In my opinion AJS rules as it has everything except the Bundesliga. I cant believe in a day on the weekend I can now watch so many matches from so many places around the world.

I was fortunate to have an AJS account in April and they have not asked me for more money, until my current sub runs out. The customer service on plus1hd is poor and they seem more focused on getting new subscriptions. They rely on streamers who I suspect have poor computers and from watching the ashes cricket they have the stream one minute then the next it dissapears only for the stream to appear on a different channel without notice or communication.

Even for new subscribers of Al jazeera sports it is definitely worth the money, the quality of the streams are very good indeed.

For AJS subscribers we can look forward to the next 3 years of Premier league football all live and in HD. No epistrofes katastrofes with the service.

C_C, please don't mention that site!
It doesn't have PL, or any other rights and offers a similar service as an iptv. That why the last thread was removed!

As for people trying to use unotelly for free, is it really worth it?
It only costs $5 per month… is your time really worth so little?

You can't change the email address you use to log in with but you can get them to change it for you. I did this when I got my account locked due to too many log ins within a short space of time.

You'd be better off plugging the laptop into the telly with an HDMI.

Flash is dead.

Do you have a link to the one you used?

I tried on both my Nexus 7 and the web store and neither would let me use it.

You've not signed up for a Gmail address in Egypt or something have you?
I used this one here

Well I've taken the plunge and signed up for AJS and thought I'd share my initial thoughts on it to help people make informed decisions about whether to get it or not.
First of all I tried it last night with the Real Madrid game that was on one of the HD channels,
for this I was using my reasonably powerful main HTPC on a 42" tv,
the pc specs are AMD Athlon X2 quad core 3.2ghz cpu, 4gb ddr3 1333 RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6670 GPU with 1gb ddr5 RAM running Windows 7 64bit and Chrome browser.
The stream played flawlessly and commentary was easilly switched to English, however it wasn't really HD more like very good SD but still a vast improvement over ADMC's offering last season.

My second test was the replay of last nights Chelsea friendly shown this morning, again on one of the HD channels, this time on my much less powerful bedroom HTPC,
these specs are AMD A4 APU (2.7ghz dual core CPU with integrated Radeon HD 6410D GPU), 4gb ddr3 1600 Ram, Windows 8 64bit and Chrome browser again.
Picture quality again was very good SD (didn't really expect that to change lol) playback was good but not flawless, there was the odd jerk in fast panning scenes, it wasn't enough to spoil the viewing but was noticeable compared to watching on the more powerful machine.

I'm happy so far and glad I took the plunge and would recommend it and if AJS follow up on their promises to increase the bitrate to 4000Kbps it will be even better,
however I would caution people to make sure their pc is up to the job, anything less powerful than the 2nd one in my post is going to really struggle to play these streams back.

I spoken to AJS yesterday, They advised they are in the process of updating the current Iphone & Ipad app to be more like the website. I.e better quality and the 2 audio streams.

One thing to mention, Airplay works on Iphone but not Ipad.

I suppose an update will be issued before the start of next weekend due to the PL starting then and them having launched new channels. Hopefully it will be a lot less buggy!

Also on the point above on PC spec - whilst performance will vary from machine to machine, I run the AJS streams on a 2007 MacBook - 2.0ghz core 2 duo with no dedicated graphics card. It works fine and I get very good picture (maybe with a very occasional dropped frame) but still 200 times better than any dodgy stream I've seen.

Great review mate, excellent summery.
Especially useful to hear your comparison with ADMC. It's a service that many on this thread will be familiar with (from last season) so I think, when people are writing a review, if they can make comparisons to that, or services like iPlayer, Sky Go, etc. it would provides a practical barometer for others to compare against.

Tescos sell an Archos Cobalt 80 for £80, you have to install flash manually but in conjuction with Dolphin browser it plays flash streams,
I haven't tried it with Al Jazeera yet as I don't have it set up for a VPN but I've had other sites flash steams playing via Dolphin, if memory serves me correctly I think I had to change the user agent setting in Dolphin to desktop to get them to work.

Best thing to do is check http://www.gizchina.com/ and get one directly from China, Theres a new Phablet that came out today which I have just purchased from http://www.orientdeal.com/ only £127 and it has better spec's then Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Worth a look and supports HDMI.

That's what I thought, but it says incompatible with any of my devices (Nexus 7 2012, Galaxy S3)

Think I'd need to find the APK from somewhere, or figure out another way to make Google think I'm from the Middle East, which doesn't loo easy based on all the threads on various Android forums I've read.

Tried the iOS app for the first time in ages, works fine over Smart DNS so far. The picture doesn't seem to improve on my iPhone though, the stream isn't working it's way up to high quality like the web version.

Doesn't Dolphin no longer support Flash on larger screen devices? So you'd have to get an older version of the browser and make sure it never updated itself in the Play Store?

That was my experience 12 months ago anyway when I bought my Nexus 7, and even then, the flash experience was choppy, when it did work, but the majority of the time it just crashed the browser.

Get a VPN set up for Egypt, make new Gmail account, log into it in play store, then download the AJS app. Then log in.

Simple.
