Do you have a link to the APK? Still on the version that came out at the start of the season and the bit rate is capped at 1200k. Cheers.

I missed the footy today.
Did anyone try PLP via iPhone, air played to an AppleTV? What was the quality like?
I believe the iPad airplays at the full 4500kbps but the iPhone only does so at 1800kbps...

I did. Quality was ok. Had to relaunch streams a couple of times (airplaying from
iPod Touch to Apple TV) as it was blury. Have 15meg broadband so not a speed problem (plus as Arsenal game kicked off at 4.45am here I wouldn't think the local connection would be overwhelmed)

One pain was the app kicked me out several times during the Chelsea game stating I was already logged in somewhere else when I wasn't. Watched Liverpool game on free NBC HD stream through my antenna so quality obviously good for that.

Thanks... It's annoying that they haven't upgraded the iPhone stream to 4500kbps. Perhaps, with the new larger iPhone 6 and 6+, they might. There's absolutely no reason for them not to do so.

I wonder if they'll have the four game multi option on the 6+.

No
You need a dish/xfinity account

I got a Dish account that has both NBC and Bein. Pretty good coverage.

Shame really they seem to have it pretty spot on with the streaming in the US

They're not scamming you. We all knew the risks of signing up to an account, whilst knowing that we would immediately be contravening their T&Cs.

Would you give a "customer" half way around the world, who's actions get/might get you in trouble with your main supplier, a refund... I wouldn't.

Once I'd accounted for costs for services rendered thus far, at the point I wasn't offering the customer a service anymore, I would give them their money back because I'm not entitled to it.

actually I would, I sell services and if someone breaks my t&c, so I terminate them, I also refund them for unused time.

They should be blocking the signups from the off, also they going to have a hard time winning chargebacks when they still have customers from the UK using their service (inconsistent).

Would there be any chance of you uploading the .ipa file somewhere? Maybe Dropbox? Thanks.

Really? I've never heard of a company effectively encouraging the use of jailbroken devices on their service.

Is it not the encoding of the streams that is the issue though, rather than the apps?

They did block signups. They were geoblocked and even many VPNs were not able to access the subscriptions page. That's more than a reasonable step for them to block potential subscribers from abroad.

With regards to the inconsistency, they can simply say that their doing their best to find rule breakers... Who's to say that they're not doing so?
If you get your money back, good on you, but if they cut me off, I've lost £20 doing something I know I shouldn't have been... Fair enough in my opinion.

I doubt they'd give that out. In fact, when I wrote to them recently, they told me that there are no new versions of the app in development... That may not be true but, bearing in mind that they haven't been able to implement the function to put your iDevice to sleep, while air playing, it wouldn't surprise me.

We can but hope

I've been in touch with Unotelly regarding the poor streaming on beIN's website. Their initial suggestions didn't help at all and they have escalated the issue; the latest message being, "We our working on improving Bein Sports streaming."

So hopefully things will improve soon as someone mentioned previously that UnblockUS's service, for example, does not suffer from the same buffering and fluctuating quality.
