Has anyone else ever tried to cancel the monthly payment to premierleaguepass? I've found that xfinity tv go works well so i decided to cancel the plp, or so i thought..

They refuse to cancel the monthly payment saying it states in their terms and conditions that there is only a 5 day cooling off period then you are tied to a contract.

It's not a lot of money but it seems like a pretty poor approach from them. I'll be asking my bank to cancel the payment but i'd warn off others from signing up to PLP even if they sort out the stuttering.

It's unfortunate, but I think it was clear that PLP were allowing us to pay for a season pass in instalments, rather than it being a monthly subscription. A subtle, but important difference that maybe could have been made clearer at the outset.

On another note it is so frustrating that this stutter is still apparent. The bitrate and resolution of the stream are excellent which, in a way, makes it even more annoying that they've messed up the frame-rate. I've not seen that sort of stutter on any of the other services.

I've given up on PLP. There was a glimmer of hope in one game at the weekend but then it went plop again. PLoP. That's what they should change their name to.

Nbc for epl and fox for CL. Problem solved

Just to add, the fox sport 1 feed via the xfinity app on airplay was broadcast HD quality last night. Indistinguishable from itv HD

I got awful quality from foxsports1 via xfinity go last night had to resort to a alternative source.
Thinking about though i think it was down to Virgin media more than anything no doubt things will improve from October when i get rid of vm and switch to plusnet as Verizon is poor quality too.

Start the stream on the ipad, swipe up from the bottom and hit airplay and choose your Apple TV. Don't have airplay enabled before you start the stream or it will error

Wow really? Honestly it's the best live stream I've managed to achieve to date.

This is why i'm thinking it's down to virgin media as tbf you've been pretty spot on when you say a service is good.
Going to see how the match between Bayern and Man city runs tonight if still issues then we can safely say it's VM.

How come you prefer to use the xfinity app?
I used the Fox Soccer 2 go app directly, and it worked really nicely.

Just watching their "Multi-match" re-run now... That's a bit of a weird concept

It just offers better quality streaming than the fox soccer2go app.

And it's looking great for the city game too... Sound drops every 5 mins for a few seconds though.

Beinsports is awful on every "Smart" DNS service tonight, I hope they figure it out.

I fail to see why people still bother with bein_mena, just refund that crap.

I had a message from Unotelly this evening to say they had improved streaming on beIN but I tested it and it is still awful for me.

From PLP...

If you are a watcher of PremierLeaguePass on an iOS device, the iOS8 update will torpedo your Premer League watching this weekend. For an uninterrupted viewing experience we would advise you hold off until you've updated the PremierLeaguePass app on your device.

Our new app version is sitting in the queue to be checked and released by Apple but as everyone has had to resubmit their apps at the same time, the queue is pretty long. You'll see the new version of the app sitting in your updates queue as soon as it is released.

Best wishes,
PremierLeaguePass

Yep, got that as well. I get scared everytime I receive an email from them!

I'm going to assume this is not connected at all to the stuttery streams, but rather just some incompatibility issues with iOS 8.

Hopefully it fixes both!

To confirm, is this the xfinity TV go app you're watching this on?

Just got the sneaky email from PLP. Fun while it lasted and not bad for the Taiwan price as I managed 4 game weeks. Back to watching the odd game on NowTV.

What's the cheapest Dish package that provides NBCSN, please? Are you saying that you subscribe to Dish just to get access to the internet streams associated with those subscription channels?

I got a Dish account that has both NBC and Bein. Pretty good coverage.”
