Now that the Chromecast has launched in New Zealand for $61 NZD, let's hope that Google Cast support comes soon to Premier League Pass. Hopefully the ASUS / Google Nexus Player and other Android TV STBs and integrated TVs will also launch in NZ so we can get onboard support for that, as well!

You should be able to use google cast already via the chrome browser

FA Cup on Bein was perfect last night. Quality on iPad and via airplay was spot on the entire game, even if the audio was arabic (nufc game)

Is your beinsport app up to date , because I updated mine on Sunday and cannot AirPlay anymore from iPhone or iPad

Do you mean Chrome browser for pc or chrome for android? Chrome browser for pc is working only with 720p (normal) mode for me, best quality is lagging with delayded sound. I have exelent wifi network, so it cant be that.

Can someone please confirm that the new beinsports update has disabled AirPlay,just been in touch with bein and they said reset all settings in my iPad/iPhone and it should work which I did and still nothing

If you have the IPA file from the 2.1.6 version you can do it. If you backed up your device previous to installing the newer version, you can seach your HDD for the .ipa file. (Search for all .ipa files and the Bein one will hopefully be obvious)

Once you have this, delete the app from the device.

You can then use something like iFunbox, iTools or SyncIOS to load the older IPA file to the device.
This only works on unjailbroken devices, if you have the ipa downloaded from your itunes account. It will not install "cracked" apps.

Anyone noticed that the framerate on beinsports is quite bad? It used to be much better, I guess it's the new player to be a total disaster.

I tried firefox and chrome and got the same result. I'm on a I7 4770k with a GTX 770 so it's most definitely not a hardware issue.

Their TV listings page is unusable so what hope their player!

I've given up on Apple TV streaming from anything now! Dug out my Win 8 tablet and set it up with HDMI. I think this is the best option for getting streaming TV services to the bigger screen plus easy to set up XBMC aka Kodi.

If you using the a vpn or dns server on the beinsports website or apps you can turn it off when you have the stream running just pause the stream then turn off your dns by using something like dns jumper. a vpn just turn it off.

The stream will run as it should at maximum quality via your own connection just r e-enable your vpn or dns if you want to change channels

It happened when they added Showtime to the app. I think it was a bug that let the app AirPlay when it couldn't mirror and they quashed it.
