Thanks”

Have you got another HDMI cable to try it with, I only ask as others have said it works so may just be your cable.

I only had one that came with the sky box, could it just be the cable?

As Charliechaplin said, these boxes should not be mentioned here. They're illegal (at least the ones I know of) and could cause this thread to be deleted.

It's probably just the cable!
others have said the adapter works so it must be that or your adapter, can you borrow one from someone? Otherwise order one from Amazon, I pick them up for less than a quid, got loads hanging around.

OK , so stream is working good well quite good.

im now on a never ending journey to get this on TV.

i have
ACER REVO - HDMI Connected ti PC - But Shutters Alot
HP 2530p Laptop - Works Good but notHDMI
LENOVO X201 Laptop - Works the best , but again no HDMI.
DELL E6400 Lapotp - works 80-90% , might shutter a bit , will need to re-install as its full of Junk, No HDMI but has PortDisplay , so i bought a PortDisplay Adapter , and will check.
Chromecast - Streams wireless to TV but quality is downgrade significant.

Not Tested Yet :
IBM ThinkPad 8191 - Core 2 Duo - again no HDMI but , can buy a PCI-E card easilly.

we are your suggestions ? i know i can connect via VGA then connect some speakers , but want some hassle-free setup

as reading here got me thinking ,
1. all members have ipad/iphones and AirPlay via ATV.
2. the rest watch on TV.

I dont own an iPad nor a iPhone , (moved recently to Nexus 4).

any PC (mini) or cheap one i can throw next to tv that will work ? or any of the ANDROID STICKS/ BOXES

Or anyother options?

Thanks Alot

Wow how many computers have you got?!? Try a different browser if the stream isn't smooth. The waterfox one is pretty good

The Android boxes aren't. They are boxes that run various versions of Android - like ICS. And you can install apps on.

I'm not going to mention the ones that your think are. These aren't actually illegal - as they do have legitimate uses.

Not sure. I wouldn't use chrome though since flash doesn't work nicely with that. Try Firefox which is pretty much what waterfox uses

Wow you have a Chromecast already? I presume that is streaming from the Chrome browser.

Hopefully AJS will build Chromecast support into the app. That will depend on when Chromecast is released in the Middle East.

AirPlay can be implemented in different ways by 3rd party developers. Whether they choose to allow multitasking is up to them, and AJC have decided not to.

It is a little sad really, as it is a tad annoying to be forced to leave the app on at all times.

Does your tv have audio in sockets (red and white input) - you could connect via VGA and then run the sound from the PC to the TV using a 2nd cable. Not as easy as hdmi but less hassle than a pair of speakers!

I think the channels have all gone offline at the minute
Was just watching the palace spurs replay to test a new graphics card and it just stopped and each channel says currently unavailable

AJS is not the BBC or Sky. Don't expect them to be super fast updating apps or adding new devices. Like a lot of companies they seem more than happy with an ipad app.
