holy crap! apple tv live streaming of US channels is IMMENSE! Watching bayern V dortmund on ESPN3 at the moment and it's the best live stream iv ever seen!!
Apple TV not working for me either, luckily I've also got a Roku 3 as well, and that worked first time, great picture quality too 
Bloody typical i bought an apple tv today but i also looked at the roku 3 and like others i can not get nbc sports extra to work on my apple tv 3 hopefully its a quick fix

I'm assuming it's something to do with nbc themselves?? Or is it unblock-us? The highlight vids are working but not anything else
I think its a combination of both nbc and the dns providers as its the same for me i use another dns provider but ive tested 2 in total with the same results

The website works fine so am assuming it's an atv issue
So does the windows 8 app it must be because its a new app and things need to be tweaked thankfully i ordered an ipad mini 2 today and it should be on io7 so i will be able to get the full benefit of it

Went straight to my Roku for tonight's match worked flawlessly, brilliant picture quality, not tried my Apple TV yet, but judging from people's comments needs a bit of work from the DNS providers
Yes its only the apple tv app thats affected the ipad itself is fine so is airplay if you use that

It's a DNS issue relating specifically to NBC on the Apple TV. Hopefully it you make your provider aware they should be able to tweak their backend systems to fix it.

How do you know that? Why would some videos work and others not? Simultaneously an issue with multiple providers??

No judder or buffering at all for me, certainly better quality than I was getting through air-play

its pretty much what my dns provider told me but these things need to go through there engineering teams and have to be tested on the apple tv itself it just takes time on the matter of multiple providers i would assume they all use the same method of unblocking the content so they would all be affected in the same way.

Most of the videos on the app are free to view so you don't need a cable login - the live stuff and PL replays are encrypted and probably sent to/from a different location in terms of servers. Probably just hasn't been configured yet.

Is it common for DNS providers to say they don't support something and really they do? Coz that's what unblock us are saying. On to another DNS then for me...

My experience with Unotelly is that, until they have been able to test it fully, they will say that a particular service is unsupported, even if it does actually work in the interim.
I think you will be wasting your time trying another dns provider but i would love to be proven wrong,unblock-us,unotelly or Getflix dont support the apple tv app atm i think its just a matter of waiting for them to resolve the issue.

Ok, using my laptop to share a con connection. It works perfectly. And the quality is utterly amazing. I thought PLP was good but this is just outstanding!!!

Works even better now I've hooked up a router to connect directly to VPN! Amazing. Did nbc retain the epl beyond next season?
