I dunno. I think they are better. Not only do they have apps for Android and iOS, they also have Windows Phone, Blackberry 10 & Playbook and Nokia OVI (!!!).

It's still patchy for me and that's with the latest app and updated ipad etc.
AJS ios app, via Smart DNS, workng fine with ipod 4 and HDMI official lead.
Picture for me is standard def at best. Very watchable though.

Configure phone's wifi settings to have the Overplay DNS settings.
copy the AJ apk over and install it
Start AJ and sign in.
That's all that was required for me I guess you would just need to put the DNS settings into the 3G configuration part, I generally only ever use wifi with my phone so have never delved into 3G settings.

been playing around with CHROMECAST ,
while you are TAB CASTING (Chrome Browser only) , there are Quality Settings ,
Extreme 720p
Good 720p

I wrote that quality is not that good as it worked only on standard mode , as other two suffers shuttering.
i yesterday had a feeling its something do to with my Router , only b/g.
so switched to 802 N Router and switched to
EXTREME 720p , i must admit quality is fantastic ! runs smooth ( as it does on my laptop , as it mirror).
If someone is not familiar with ChromeCast its a HDMI Dongle that streams your content wireless from pc/laptop to TV , its native is apps like netflix and youtube , but you can stream / mirror content from any CHROME TAB , so i switch to AJS and Stream it to TV , then theres a workround to keep it in full screen on tv and continue using LAPTOP/PC which is fantastic.

Thanks for the update Sean, pleased to hear the above as I was a bit concerned following your previous post.
These are still pretty short on the ground in the US as was thinking about getting a US mate to get one for me. Ebay price high considering I don't really need it as the HDMI cable working fine here, but they would be good for portability or those without HDMI out on PC etc.
UK date is meant to be Sep 14 but that will probably slip.
Would appreciate any update as you go on your findings.
