I know this is a Premier League thread but does anyone know of a reliable way of watching Champions League matches next season? I will be using PLP again for the EPL and would like something similar for the CL.
I would move my broadband to BT but their service isn't available where I'll be living. |

Fox Sports in the US do coverage - (you can get an app for that), but they only show selected games.

I'm all hooked up with my IPTV for this season with NBC/Fox as a backup if need be. |

What's that, fish&chips in London? I'd be careful still about using the Taiwan sub, as this will almost certainly piss off PLP (And rightly so). They make money from Brits subscribing to NZ, even though they shouldn't, but when they see VPNs going into Taiwan, they lose money. Not only is there a greater chance of being cut off, but it ruins it for everyone else who is subscribing to NZ via VPN, as they are forced into a VPN and Smart DNS cull. Seriously, how bad is £8 a month to watch every match during that month, including blackout matches? |

It's hardly so much money. You can subscribe per month, so if they did cut you you only lose eight quid.

I would move my broadband to BT but their service isn't available where I'll be living. Imo those are the most reliable options. |

There are two ways foxsport if you can get a us tv login such as xfinity, or the otherway is take out a bt mobile sim £10p/m you'll get bt sport lite (bt sport1 and extra) for free but you can pay £5p/m to get all bt sport channels.
Imo those are the most reliable options. Do you know if I got the mobile sim and paid the £5 extra for Europe I would be able to watch it on my TV either via Chromecast or Apple TV? |

Thank you for that useful info. I don't know how I would get Fox Sports but the mobile route is interesting.

I've recently moved everything over to bt i know this isn't a option for you but you should be fine using the app, if it helps the firetv sticks are £35 just google around there are loads of videos on how to sideload apps. EDIT: just found this https://community.bt.com/t5/Watching...V/td-p/1226905

The first paragraph of that article says: "To use Chromecast with the BT Sport App you must have BT Sport with BT Broadband, or BT Sport on Sky. You can't use Chromecast with the BT Sport App if you're a BT Mobile customer without BT Broadband or BT Sport on Sky." No mention of the £5 extra for Europe but it doesn't look promising. I assume the Fire TV just runs the Android app natively so no need to cast? |

Why ? He might be in the states ?
There was a tread on here about PL football, DNS services, etc just over a year ago. It was 80+ pages long, with tonnes of information in there, and it got deleted by the mods when people started talking about illegal streaming services, IPTVs, etc. I'm not against them per se, I just don't want this thread shut down too. |

Thanks again. It looks like the answer is no.

You will need a mouse and keyboard too any wireless one will do just plug the wireless dongle into the usb port on your firetv box and it will work no problem (not sure about firetv stick) or you can get firetv remote mouse from amazon app store and use your android phone. The btsport app works flawlessly on the firetv box i was watching the Southampton match last night on it and it didn't buffer once. |

BT are launching a new channel tomorrow for the Europa and CLmright they acquired.
Anyone know if the new channel will be added to current app or will it be for purchase only? Hopefully the new btsport europe will appear tonight or tomorrow it isn't there yet or on website. If you only have bt sport lite you will only get bt sport1 and bt sport extra you will have to pay for bt sport2, btsprt espn and bt sport europe, they are included though with all bt tv packs. |

Yeah firetv uses it's own operating system which is really Android kitkat or jellybean which is due to be upgraded to lollipop some time this year. It is very easy to sideload apps onto it loads of youtube vides about i find the easiest way is to get apps2fire from google playstore then install the apps you want on your fitetv aka btsport then use apps2fire to send and install it on your firetv.

^^ it would also be great if they finally allowed OTT subscriptions, i.e. without the need to actually be with BT. (A bit like how Sky offers Sky Sports and TV via Now without being with Sky Satellite or Broadband)

You can find a second hand Apple TV for £30 if you can't wait for the rumoured new one coming in September. Best money I'v ever spent. |

As JCM said, jailbreakiing is the way to go. Basically, If you have an Apple TV, DNS service and an iPhone, iPad or even iPod touch, you don't anything else. I'm not just talking about PL football, I'm talking about pretty much any content from anywhere in the world, in very, very good quality.
