With the NBC Sports sub you get to watch a certain amount of EPL matches live but then they have every single match on delay with the British commentators is that correct? Is it possible to access their "portal" (or whatever it is?) and avoid spoilers for the matches that have played?

I'm trying to work out what to use for next season. I thought it would be useful to put a summary together of the options. There's a few gaps here, so please help fill it in or correct it if possible!

BeIN Sports
Matches: Premier League (including 3pm KO), Champions League
Price: $13/month
Where: Middle East
Notes: Worked well for me last season, but at the end they switched to using Silverlight which broke my SmartDNS. I don't know if this is an issue any more?
Some Champions League games and 3pm KOs were only available with Arabic commentary. Other than that, the coverage was good - usually Andy Gray & Richard Keys in the studio with English commentators / pundits.

NBC Sports
Matches: Premier League (including 3pm KO)
Price: ?
Where: USA
Notes: Need to have a US cable subscription?

Fox Sports
Matches: Champions League
Price: ?
Where: USA
Notes: Need to have a US cable subscription?

Premier League Pass
Matches: Premier League (including 3pm KO)
Price: NZD19.90 / month or NZD199 / year
Where: New Zealand
Notes: Apparently there's a risk of getting cut off after you've already paid?

Star Sports
Matches: Premier League
Price: ?
Where: India
Notes: ?

There are also unofficial options which source Sky Sports and BT Sport, but these appear to be invite-only or aren't allowing more registrations:
247HD (previously Plus1HD)
Footy-Report

I'm inclined to go for BeIN again, just because they cover both Premier League and Champions League. I've not used Premier League Pass or Star Sports before, so I don't know how these compare? What option is everyone else going for this season?

I thought NBC sport extra showed every game live? I have signed in to my account but when I click on live and upcoming it does not show any premier league games? Can anybody else check theirs to see if there are any pl games listed as upcoming? Worried I have got an account the does not include live pl games?!

Can't get beIN to AirPlay , anyone can help ?

as for Star Sports , it was awful for me last season , is it really free this season ? does it have the worst quality from its contenders along with lowest price ?

Plus SS subscription showing my expiry date as 1st of JUN , and "not subscription available to purchase at the moment"

The liveextra website is showing all the games in the live & upcoming section.

I've had a look on the app and there aren't any games showing on there.

Does beIN show American football?

NFL GamePass will serve you American Football with all games in HD and on a variety of devices starting at £85 with no threat of cancellation, nor any VPN required.

Whichever games Sky show at 6 & 9pm on a Sunday won't be available in the UK - you'll have to wait 24 hours. Same goes for playoff games, championship games or the Super Bowl.

True, but that is easily remedied by Smart DNS. Some Smart DNS companies like OverPlay allow you to switch between about a dozen NFL Game Pass countries, so you could easily bypass the UK blackouts.

Having used NBC last year you sometimes wouldn't see the games on I-pad, Apple TV or roku until the day of broadcast, not always, but if not, they only seemed to be on there a day or 2 before, even when the schedule was showing 7 days in advance

thanks for that. My theory was that NBC would naturally promote USA based sports more actively hence little on there for the EPL, but as you said, I would be very surprised if the games were not shown live.

I wonder if the PL have got onto starsports as they are not scheduled any PL games yet on either iOS app (hence no pricing yet) although they are on the TV guide on the website

thanks for that, glad its not just me, for a moment I thought my smartdns was not working but if you cannot see any packages either then its obviously a starsports issue.

Nbc Fixtures are now showing on iPad, Apple TV and android apps under the upcoming section. I'm getting excited now. Fingers crossed there's no glitches with the streams now

What DNS would you all recommend? I'm looking at Unotelly, overplay and block us

Can someone help me please?

* What are the options for viewing Champions League matches - assuming I don't have access to NBC/Fox? Is it just beIN?

* Does SmartDNS now work for ungeoblocking beIN's Silverlight player?

Thanks!

BTSport may be a option but a bit pricey i think it's £19.99p/m other than that Bein is probably your best shot, no idea about silverlight though. Why companies use that horrific software i will never know.

I think they still use silverlight as its considered to be a more secure platform for delivering content, as you said its awful actually so bad than even Microsoft " the developers of silverlight " have stopped supporting it in there new edge browser on windows 10 i think one of the only browsers that officially supports it is firefox.

We're not supposed to mention any illegal services or "dodgy" account sources on here. It's happened before and the whole thread was deleted.

Can someone who communicates with the mods ask them to delete that post please?”

well, as you can see I am new to the forum.

if I could edit that particular post I would.
