Watching the Ashes on Starsports now, it's free. Got cool interactive graphics too.

^^ Viaplay from Scandinavia. A bit dear, but has all games (I believe) and their entire movie+TV which is a bit like Sky.
And the untested Fox sports International €15 from Netherlands. |

Do these both have English commentary?
No idea for the Dutch streams. It would cost them an awful lot to have Dutch commentary on all matches, and the Netherlands is neither big, nor do they have a lack of English speakers. |

By the way, PLP have got back to me and confirmed that they will stand their ground and not consider any use of the credit card for a monthly sub, to be a contract for the entire season. This could mean (and I emphasis could) that they may either continue billing the credit card if they block a user for breaking terms and conditions, or bill for the remainder of the season.
Of course, it doesn't mean they will do this, nor that they will cancel any subs either. Just keeping in mind their previous record here. |

Opps, my mistake with Viaplay. Thanks for the corrections. I am guessing it could be then the same with Fox International from NL. Probably the EPL getting all flustered.

I think its the same for all of the European based providers they moved the goal post i think 3 seasons ago
Best to stick with PLP, NBC, or Star Sports. Anyone know of any streaming services in Africa? I guess there will probably be a few in the next few years. Super Sports maybe? |

Yep, when this round of bidding took place (which runs up to and including this season) all providers within Europe were contractually restricted to only broadcasting one Saturday, 3PM game. If you support one of the more popular teams, this probably won't be a problem very often, but if you support Bournemouth (for example) you'll probably miss a whole chunk of their games.

A bit exciting isn't it? so many options now and the season kicking off tomorrow
![]() I know i'm easily pleased lol i will be using NBC with BTsport as i have bt broadband but will be keeping a eye on fox international and starsport as back up options. For champ league it will be foxsport (us) and BT sport again monitoring the other options as potential back up options. Will be interesting to see how things pan out with all the providors PLP is a big no from me as the way they treat people is wrong, ok they have rights to ban accounts but they should at least part refund subs of banned accounts too. Anyway my team is in the Championship but it'll be interesting to see how Bournemouth get on this season, any teams you guys will be following aside from your own? |

Anyone know when PLP coverage starts? Is there any build up or is it straight to the game?

How's nbc sports running for those who have it? I'm interested to know what it's like on ATV. I was testing mine on the ipad app which looks ok but the quality could be a bit better.
I don't have an apple TV though heard it's really good on there. |
