While I've been impressed with the picture quality of PLP, there's no build-up, no atmosphere - it feels very sterile. If all you want is coverage of the 90 minutes, it's perfect, but for me I'd happily sacrifice a bit of picture quality for a full football package. Also I thought I'd seen the back of Andy Townsend

I have Bein Sports for watching the Champions League and as a back up for PLP, it's handy for other sports as well such as Boxing, Tennis and Rugby.
They do provide the full build up with Keys and Gray along with former players as pundits, similar type of build up to Sky.
Bein provide all the games but only 2 channels, ch11 and ch12 are guaranteed to be with English commentary, tonight it's PSV v Man U on ch11 and then rather bizarrely it's Roma v Barca on ch12. The Man City game is on ch1, which on the web player is only with Arabic commentary. Sometimes the player does have an audio option to switch the commentary language but there is no telling if and when it'll appear, that aspect of the player is very hit and miss.
Picture wise on my PC I find the picture to be quite good, it's between SD and HD for me, and for me at least it plays smoothly without any judder, it's not as good as PLP picture wise but it's fine for my needs.
On my Android box using the Bein Sports app it's nowhere near as good as the pic on my PC, it's a bit of a dead loss on that to be honest which is disappointing.
Overall the foreign language commentary doesn't particularly bother me, for the sport I can view I find Bein Sports to be very good value for money, however that's only my personal opinion and others will have a different view.
