Anyone else had problems with plp this weekend? Quality has been very variable for me and stream stuttered several times during Man U game.
It seems to happen every weekend especially after 3pm i honestly think they can not handle the traffic not that they would admit to that, from what i understand smart dns is only needed with plp on the initial handshake when the stream starts after that the stream does not use smart dns.
That being the case i dont think its a smart dns issue just traffic or maybe routing.

Now that I've managed to set up Kodi/VPN on a Fire Stick to watch NBC it has so far been the best option I've tried over the last few years in terms of quality, reliability and convenience.

Hi guys, is there anyway to cast an NBC stream to google chrome cast from an iPad?
Cheers
Nope. You could cast from Chrome on a laptop/PC though.

How did you use a VPN with Kodi?

With difficulty! I ended up using my Raspberry Pi (which has a VPN running on it) as a wireless access point to which the Fire Stick connects. The theory is simple but it took a lot of trial and error and following various guides on the internet.

Hi

Hope this helps somebody out.........

If you have an NBC SPORT Log In this may work for you........

I have sideloaded the XFINITY TV GO app to my Fire Tv.

Fire it up and log in with your NBC SPORT log in (mine worked fine - it must be a COMCAST one)

You need a keyboard to log in and also for the next bit............

Once logged in got top left and click on Live Tv......this takes you to the list of channels you can watch live - one of them is BEIN USA - click this and the channel loads - takes a minute or two to get to HD pic quality but it does get there in the end.

The Man City game will be on in English Commentary - hope this helps.

Obviously this needs Uno Telly/Overplay or similar smart dns to work.

Quick question..........

Whats the best way to watch BEIN SPORTS on a tv ?

I have tried laptop hdmi'd in but poor pic - same with i7 desktop.

I have a fire tv - sideloaded BEIN SPORT MENA app but pic awful.........

I also have 2 x Roku 3's.........and an Nvidia Shield Android Tv and Android MB Box.

Am I missing the obvious - looking for good hd streaming quality - I have an official sub.

I think most people gave up on Bein a while ago due to unreliable picture quality, lack of English channels, and a dodgy media player. Are you using a DNS service or VPN? From memory people seemed to have most joy using a VPN.

I think your problem is the limitations of Bein's service / the methods used to watch it, rather than lack of a suitable device with which to watch it.

Got one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o01_s00 from the states.

Plays stream but it does stutter slightly......however.......on my Lenovo i7 the BEIN SPORT picture tonight is actually very very good - and stable.

That small asus pc is pretty awesome for all the streams apart from BEIN - its 80 percent of the way there with the BEIN STREAM..........Premier League Pass / NBC etc are all flawless with it - does BEIN require a lot more processing power ?

By the way it cost me £120 delivered from the states (from amazon daily deal ) - and i'm very impressed with it - windows 10 etc......no optical drive but its only the size of a cd case ! Even comes with keyboard and mouse - I just used a us to uk travel adaptor for the power and it works great.

Anyone find that Bein Sports suffering from excessive buffering recently?

Last weekend and midweek it kept buffering for 3 minutes at a time. Internet not running slow or anything

I found BEIN SPORTS awful before the capital one matches this week.ut the live games were excellent to be honest.

I had 1 dropout - logged back in and all good.

When its working 100% Nbc sports extra is by far the best platform i wish i could say the same about premierleaguepass i gave up on it half way through the man city game when it started to buffer again.

Slightly strange occurrence on Apple TV nbc app since the 3pm ko's getting error loading this content message after like 20 seconds of the stream being ok, so it loads and then Disappears. Hard to work out if it's an nbc issue or a DNS issue

Got the box set up and installed the android nbc app, really silly question but as I'm guessing it was designed for touchscreen how do you scroll down as I can't seem to do it using button or mouse pointer via remote?

How are you watching NBC sport live extraon amazon fire - are you sideloading the app ?

I have sideloaded it and it seems to work okay - but its a pain I can't access it from main menu and that I have to go into manage applications and launch it that way.
