Anyone seen the article on sky sports news about next years EFL fixtures? Interesting comment at the bottom of the article....

http://www.skysports.com/football/ne...e-efl-fixtures

This season Sky Sports will show more than 700 matches from eight different leagues across its channels and digital outlets. For the first time, viewers will be able to enjoy regular live coverage of Premier League matches on Friday nights in addition to those shown on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and Monday Night Football.

In another first, viewers in the Republic of Ireland will also be able to enjoy live coverage of the Premier League in a regular slot on Saturday afternoons at 3pm. And an expanded mobile clips service delivered by Sky Sports' Football Score Centre app will enable users to enjoy more highlights of Premier League and Football League matches on their phones on match days.

A combo of glorious UHD and then a NBC account for the rest.

I'm not sure if NBC have a new method of blocking us,
during the Grand Prix on Sunday I was getting various failed to authorise messages using the same VPN I've been using for the past couple of years with them, then as soon as the race ended everything started working again.

I'm using a very good American friend's login so haven't parted with any money for this but I'd be wary of buying accounts from people at the moment if they have got a new method of blocking.
I'll try it out again for this weekend's race and see if it does the same and would be interested to see if other NBC users have experienced anything similar recently.

Interesting to see which new providers offer high quality streams for the next three years. NBC Sports is good, but a heigher bitrate would be nice. PLP quality was great the last couple of years.

Could be of interest:

DAZN Sports:

http://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2016/...ce-in-germany/

Rumoured to cost €9.99 per month and launching imminently. Streams will be in HD / 4k with Dolby 5.1 sound and connection speeds should be strong to Germany even if using VPN.

Portfolio includes live Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 + US Sports such as NBA and NFL.

Suspect may be Germany commentary only but won't know either way until launch.

"Shortly before the launch in German-language Europe, DAZN will become available in Japan."

If that's in response to the question of which soundtracks will be available, I wouldn't read too much into that phrase - it just means Austria, Switzerland, Germany as a collective.

Still, probably not much chance of English commentary being available.

hoping I could get some help, I've luckily been able to get my hands on a NBC sports Extra pass for the following season. however looking through kodi forums and trying myself there seems to be a problem with the Xfinity/comcast log ins has any one got any other way of having NBC on a smart Android TV without connecting a laptop to the TV. I've tried to sideload the app but its screen is in portrait

Thanks

I tweeted @PerformGroup to ask if English commentary language would be available as an option, no reply yet but figured it was worth a try.

I sideloaded the NBC app onto both my Amazon Fire TV and my KDlinks A300 Android based media player and both display the screen with the correct orientation.

We will find out soon enough I suppose - I'll certainly take a punt on the first month to have an explore. Trying to get it on "out of the box" devices (e.g. fire stick) without router-level VPN could be a challenge though.

Surely just need to get our SmartDNS providers to include it ASAP?

Thanks for getting back to me, I've tried both the Fire TV NBC app which gives me a prompt to install amazon store and the normal NBC Andoird app, could you push me in the right direction to get the same App as yours.

I always just see what the latest version number is here then google to get the APK, right now seems 4.6.6 is the latest so try downloading it from here: http://www.androidapps.biz/app/air.c...orts.liveextra then use ES File Explorer or similar to browse to the APK on your flashdrive then install it.
