I can't answer your question but I had the same control issue when I sideloaded the BT Sport app onto my Firetv Stick, you either need to buy and use a Bluetooth mouse to use with it or do what I did and install a mouse app, the one I used was Mouse Toggle For Fire TV
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...oggleforfiretv

I tried others which people recommended but found them very flakey, Mouse Toggle is the only one I found which works every time

Hmm I'm getting no option to edit my post.

I would add if you have a Windows laptop or tablet which has Windows 8.1 or 10 I'd consider connecting that up to your TV, so far every Universal Windows App I've tried for streaming services gives a much better picture than their Android equivalents .

Think your right - though have been chromecasting from my android phone and the quality has been great - need to sign up for a smart DNS service now - I see getflix gets a few mentions on here.... is this the one to go for atm?

The windows apps can be very tempamental i find, atm for me ROKU has the best NBC sports app but when the windows app behaves it certainly is best for quality.

It's certainly well priced, I bought a lifetime account which is currently going for £31 https://stacksocial.com/sales/getfli...me?rid=2427201 I use Getflix for Netflix/Amazon Prime/Sky Go/Fubo TV/Bein there's probably more I forget! So get my money's worth.

Hi can anyone recommend a reliable smartdns service to work with the NBC sports app on the Apple TV 3? Plays ok sometimes and other times I get error loading content message. Very frustrating with the premier league coverage around the corner!

Yup go into settings-region- change it to usa you'll then get access to USA microsoft store where all kinds of goodies await including NBCsports.

Have done so but their reply wasn't very helpful. So far overplay, getflix, cactusvpn and unlocator all have the same issue with nbc sports app on Apple TV!

same here they came with the usual crap saying try this and that i went through there hoops despite telling them that its specific to the apple tv

I eventually told them that the exact same streams are perfect if i removed there dns and i used my router based vpn strangely i didn't get a reply to that,i think its an specific issue with the way the apple tv streams are distributed and dns does not work well with it for some reason.

As i said earlier Its near perfect if you airplay from another ios device but the quality is lower capped at 720p on the iphone it can go upto 1080p on the apple tv and a retina screen ipad i believe.

Just an update on DAZN - the service launched yesterday at a cost of €9.99 per month.

I didn't get a chance to have a look last night from a German VPN / Smart DNS but initial Twitter feedback from users in Germany seems to be enormously positive. Apps available for multiple devices too.

All Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and "US Sports" (the detail of which I don't have available) being shown live - being billed as "Netflix for Sports".

Of particular interest to me is the claim of broadcasting in 4K or 1080 with 5.1 surround sound.

If anyone gets a chance to have a look and feedback that would be great! As soon as I get a chance I will do the same.

am right in saying unless you know an American TV subscriber, the NBC Sport Live Extra accounts floating around are hacked accounts and therefore liable to stop working at any time? I think so.

I'm considering just getting Now TV with Sky Sports and splitting the sub with someone. £17 a month is a reasonable price to pay to not have to worry about poor quality streams dropping out all the time.
