Jeez!! I've only just caught up with this thread and to say it's embarrassing would be an understatement! You're all acting like you're being spied on and your every word on a DS forum is being noted down by both Al Jazeera and the Premier League... get a grip everybody!

The Premier League is a £multi-billion operation and they've been well aware of what goes on for many years - but they've never been forceful in combating it until now! It's not down to a DS forum! There's a wide world out there... far bigger fish to fry than here. As for suggestions earlier in the thread that AJ might be monitoring this thread... there's not a chance! They will be acting on the PL say so... simply because too many licensed and commercial premises are showing Saturday 3pm matches - i.e. breaking the age old blackout restrictions! Domestic viewing has never been an issue - it's just that licensed premises have latched on to the same method.

Somebody could use a DNS service and be the only person in the world on it - but as soon as the companies hired by the Premier League to monitor activity notice it, then it too will be blocked. It's as simple as that. Absolutely no reason to be quivering wrecks asking for PM's!

Its not about spying or anything, I dont believe theres anyone watching forums.

But thats for sure that if theres more traffic through some service than others the more likely it will be blocked, and in this case there is no reason to share these backups to anyone. Also, if people would do something theirselves, and not always count on somebody else THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY NOTICED THAT OVERPLAY IS WORKING JUST LIKE IT USED TO.

Of course, and I do agree with that but people just need to calm down a touch. If the PL are actively chasing down services then it's always going to be a cat & mouse chase from now on and there's nothing we can do about it.

I do believe that having a full studio set-up with high profile pre, half time and post match analysis hasn't helped the cause because it provides publicans with a complete set-up in the same way as Sky - but with 226 additional matches on top!

Note how ADMC was never subjected to the same clampdown when they had a bog standard world feed that went straight into the action and finished directly after the final whistle. The PL had their reservations with the rights being awarded to AJ in the first place because of their card pairing methods (or lack of) in the MENA region, hence the long delay in them being announced as the winning party. I have a feeling that them doing a direct CC for the online streams hasn't helped either.

The most ideal scenario for the PL is to award future rights to services like NBC which require additional loops to climb through before viewing can be achieved... This is something I have a feeling they'll enforce next.

Please don't mention any services by name on this forum anymore

How do you know that no one is monitoring this and any other forum as iam sure your well aware there are people employed to search out and shut down streams so why would they not be looking at threads like this after all it only takes a google search. You have now mentioned that overplay is now working why on earth do you feel the need to tell the whole world its hard enough for overplay to maintain the service under the radar let alone when people advertise the fact.

Don't you think it's odd that about 2 days after any service is mentioned on here it get's taken down?

and that this is the top result if you search for this kind of thing

and that this forum has had over 100,000 views?

please refrain from mentioning services by name

Well, I will not mention anything from this on.
But these things are on about ten different forum or site, and even on broadcasters facebook pages,
not that hard for them to check it straight from the services if they want to, just take a livechat with them and ask. People should really take the foil hat off now.

The PL are well aware of who they sold rights to and what services they offer! They're also well aware of the varying methods people can (and do) use to access those services. Whether I mention a service by name on here or not is completely irrelevant. It's nice to think but the Premier League are far from stupid or technically advanced enough to know what's what with or without a forum.

I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theory, I'm afraid, as I think that the possible dns providers are easy enough to discover and test out. I'm sure that the powers that be have the resources to do that without relying on the testing done on this forum.

If the consensus is that we mustn't mention any services by name then I think that this thread becomes rather pointless as I'm not sure what we're going to discuss.

There will always be ways. It's finding one that others aren't seeing that's the trick. As soon as one route is overloading AJS they know!!!

Could someone please PM me with the work around info, I have AJS but keep getting geo blocked all the time. I have been a member of the forums for years so won't tell anyone or mention it

I dont think it has anything to do with traffic or server load for example bt sky and virgin have there own dns servers its all to do with people naming the providers. All the premier league have to do is sign up to the providers and they can get the connecting ip address

OP still working here, but for how long?

If they got Gary Neville in the studio, it would be better than sky imo

And yes, that Pepsi advert is very annoying haha
