I've had it a few times; not figured out what the magic solution is yet but some combination of refreshing, changing channels, logging out/in, and restarting browser/app has done the trick so far.
are u using overplay or unotelly if i may ask? im using the latter one and im thinking about subbing there's no way for me to fix that error when i get it.. i have to mail the support and ask em to unblock my account

Hey guys,

Been watching this thread for a while.

I created a couple of accounts to experiment on regarding AJS and what works and what don't.

The only configuration that seems to work reliably at the moment, is to VPN into a 'friendly' country and watch the action from there. Once you pick your VPN location, do not change it. Any detection of IP range, even within the same country, and you will need to email support to have it unlocked.

They even lock it if you log out properly and change ip ranges, it is very sensitive at the moment.

Overplay did work again briefly but they locked the account after 1 match.

Having said all that, they had technical problems with the HD6 stream at the weekend, all other channels were fine, just HD6 so i missed everything apart from the 3pm game.

Weekend before was better on HD6 but on the other HD channels at 3pm I get a good stream of 2-3.8mbit/sec

It all just depends on what DNS provider you use. You don't have to use a VPN service - they can tend to be a lot slower.

I've been watching AJS without a problem and no pausing or poor picture. I gave up on Overplay a few weeks ago- it was useless, forever being geoblocked with that.

What service are you using? I'm watching Everton Newcastle on HD6 at the moment and 15 minutes in I haven't had an issue... Knowing my luck, now I've said that it'll go off

I thought you were using Unotelly?

I haven't had any fair user breaches at all... Ever.
I had quite a bit of freezing yesterday, but I don't think that was because of Overplay. Everytime it froze, I refreshed the browser (Safari on a MBP) and on a few occasions, the "geoblocked" message popped up, but it vanished with a further refresh.

Are you logged in on many different browsers and devices? That's the only thing, I can think, that would cause that problem.

I haven't received any "fairusebreach" error so far, watched a couple of games. I had some annoying freezes on HD6 during the Everton game, although it got stable after a few minutes.
Will be watching UCL tomorrow and see how it goes, I really hope not to get those "fairusebreach" errors anymore, they are damn annoying.

Overplay worked fine with smartDNS (hd6), but stream quality was not good. Did watch Everton game with PLP iPad app (smartDNS), wich had smoothest quality stream.

Same here on the ipad, I can watch replays fine, but as soon as the live games come on its as if they throttle the speeds!
When it does load it stops.

How do you rewind a few minutes?

I think it's a overplay thing with the iPhone and iPad , being when playing through a vpn or a different dns provider the app works fine

Nice, so I can download every single EPL match for free in HD, but I can't pay money to access the content myself (if I don't want to pay ridiculous prices getting cable TV in Sweden for stuff I don't want), well I tried to go down the legal, paying route, not my fault if they blocked overplay now.

Not sure how you rewind on the app but i find watching a few seconds of a videos first, then choosing the live new channel then choosing any of the other channels seems to get the stream going, i dont have an issue with freezing once it has started

I'm using Overplay.
Maybe the "fairusebreach" occurs with Uno telly because, when you refresh the page, the AJS server connects to another one of their IP addresses, so it looks like 2 (of more, depending on how much you refresh it) people have connected from different IP addresses, in a short period of time? aybe it would be better to change to another AJS channel, then change back?

My main problem with Overplay is the freezing... but I don't know if that's an Overplay specific problem, AJS, or something else?!?!

Hi, I'm from Canada. You might wanna think about subscribing to Sportsnet World in Canada. Cost you around $25/month but $5 more than AJS worth for the quality stream . You dont need to have a cable or satelittle subscription either. One you're there, just use unblock or unotelly to view the channel in HD which are better quality than AJS.

Your theory about the "fairusebreach" messages certainly sounds plausible to me. I will try to remember your suggestion of switching channels rather than refreshing and see how that works out.

From what I understand of how DNS services work, they shouldn't contribute to the feed freezing. I would suggest it is more likely to be the connection between you and their streaming servers, or a strain or problem on their servers.

Sounds intriguing... Can anyone offer more info on this, or back up these claims?

Split rights with TSN so only half the games.

Here is the proof mate.

Edit: Yeah still buggered about TSN-Sportnet spiltting games, but sportsnet has a lot variety with CL and Europa Leagues included.
