You won't be able to watch AJS through your PS3. Either way, no, it won't affect you playing games.

Your broadband speed is more than enough.
The only disadvantage with having the settings on your router is if you live with others. If you take your computer to a mates house to watch the footy, you'll need to reenter the dns settings. If at the same time, someone at home decides to log on to another service (even if it's allowed in your country, I think) like iPlayer, you might lose access to your footy stream (especially if you have to change channel or log on again.)
This is because your Smart DNS service can only be linked to one ip address at a time. Hope that makes sense.
