Android app and iOS app are not based on same system as what's being served up from the website.
It is certainly not a flash issue as like stated before when you are not signed in global , 1 & 2 channels are absolutely perfect. The issue happens upon logon.
The frame rate drop is caused by whatever mechanism dropping packets of data I'm guessing. These missed packets then result in frames being lost. Eventually after so many frames are lost the optimiser puts the actual stream down to lowest quality.
All they have been doing with the dns companies is blocking ip's but then the likes of overplay just get a new ip and back to business as usual. If they make the service unwatchable to users out of mena then no one bothers with it and they achieve what they need to ... I'm guessing this is too please the greedy cash cow of the prem league.
Like someone else has said. It will only push people to watch the illegal re streams.
Starsports India for £3 for the year and a cheap VPN in India and you can watch all u want. The streams aren't brilliant at only 1.6mb but well watchable on a 15" laptop.
I'm sure like I said before the clever dns guys will work it out if they want to... And just to state again in the mena region on official home broadband with no proxy , no VPN , no dns all is ok and running as normal just like jsc themselves have confirmed to some of you.
I don't know who said the 4.2mb streams were now active as this is not the case. The top stream rate today was 2400kbps which is around 3mb.
Did anyone also notice there email address popping up today in the middle of the stream in a white colour. Again this is something new to catch the re streamers maybe.
Lots of changes but was going to happen with the dns companies openly cashing in on supporting it.
