This is the email I sent AJS earlier

Audio/Video issues
message
I note with interest that you have today changed the player to 1.9.2.6.h from g Is the an admission of guilt that the previous player just did not work . I await my free months pass as compensation for the lousy service I have had to endure whilst you worked this out

And their reply

I really thought it was all over but it's perfect now, I've got my beloved AJS back!
So that means CL in HD tonight, Baby!

Maybe they just rolled a player out that doesnt have either issues / or new mechanisms on board. It is all about prem league rights after all and tonight is uefa so maybe they just keeping people happy. Probably back to same nonsense before the weekend no doubt.

As for there claims of HD streams ... Its nonsense and utter lies. I can not believe that they have emailed you akki stating that streams are now 4.2mb. This is blatant rubbish as streams at best are 3mb. I'm sure and confident that it will all be broken again before the weekend -

I logged into jsc and what a difference I dont know if its just me me but the quality goes up and down more on HD 6 and
+ 10 than any other channels .Iam not sure if this is because there the two channels with the highest demand on them, its a small inconvenience rather than a major issue

Probably because I'm watching on a 37" TV. Pictures fine just not normal hd quality or smoothness

Is it really juddery. I find that the best picture is through chrome, disabling the normal flash player in chrome (leaving pepper flash enabled), disabling HW acceleration in chrome and in flash.

But playing videos in the browser seems to be the only thing geoblocked, if I sign out and go to the subscription page again the it lets me access that fine suggesting dns is working??? Strange!”

SmartDNS of overplay sometimes become geoblocked by Al jazeera Sport and sometimes work fine. I think overplay try to update their ip to bypass geoblocking. May be this article help you to find new solution and be updated about Aljazeera problem access,

Today is the best quality I've ever seen. Smooth, clear, no drops in frames or bit rate!

i had to keep changing streams . If i went onto the stream and it was rubbish i noticed the f version player was being pulled back . Then if i refreshed again i would get a H revision player and everything worked ok. very confusing to be honest. who knows. ran faultless on ipad though as usual.

I need a little help here. I purchased new router for expanding my rubbish wifi. My computer is attached still with my cable modem and OverPlays SmartDNS is working. When i am connected to my new wifi (router), smartDNS isnt working (with laptop and ipad). I tryed to modify routers (D-Link) settings and i did put OverPlays DNS adresses there, but nothing. What seems to be problem? Is the cable modem still that rules the IPīs and whats so ever? Is there more settings than DNS in the new router, that i need to configure?

Anyone with a radeon graphics card able to get smooth playback? I've tried loads of settings but all leave a slight judder.

Full screen flash on my tablet in Firefox is perfectly smooth it just plays both audio streams at once which isn't great..

Same here. I disabled the normal flash plugin and kept the pepper flash enabled. That works best for me

Use native resolution of your display, otherwise your computer or your display will scale the picture.

There should also be mentioned p50 or p60 in the catalyst settings, after the resolution (FPS), try both. If no help try native resolution ending in i, which stands for interlaced, then you should get 50fps with different method. Could help.

Also make sure that you have disabled every "picture enhancing" settings at the catalyst.

10_3_r183_75 flash with Opera and settings mentioned above gives, at least for me, almost TV quality fps.
