No issues for me. Watched united Norwich fine. Top quality and seemed to be smoother than normal too. Thumbs up.

I also had this issue on Boxing Day (for the Spurs game). As already mentioned, I think the .tv feed was ok; it was the channel feed (think it was HD5/6) that had the problem. Hope it's sorted for today - it's just one issue after another with AJS!
I understand AJS will be rebranding next week. Does anyone know if there will be any practical implications, or is this simply a change of logo, etc? Is this related to the new STBs they're introducing? |

Urgh, the Spurs game hasn't even started yet on HD4 and already it's jumping around...

I think from looking at it all the different bit rate streams are out of sync. So if you sit on one you'll be fine but the problem is it drops and then it jumps about.

Unfortunately ajs is a total joke regardless of if they are all of the games or no,ive been testing pop and since they introduced their 4500 streams and I can honestly say that there the best online streams i`ve ever seen for both stream quality and overall reliability.

You get so much more with Al Jazeera though, it's content is absolutely unrivalled. I'm renewing in May. I've not had any problems for a long long time with Al Jazeera.

I've totally given up on AJS useless with smart DNS and no better for me using VPN. I'm now using Star Sports with VPN. I've been really impressed with their service although it's Prem only (also subscribed to Ashes). Yes, quality does drop at times but the stream never buffers (unlike AJS). I also find that when SS is at full quality it's so much smoother than AJS and therefore much easier to watch.
I'm sure the issues I experience with AJS is down to my BB speed and I'm not surprised others are having a much better streaming experience. I won't be subscribing to AJS next season but will look at SS and PLP. I'd consider AJS again if fibre became available in my area. |

So you havent had any problems the past 2 days? I've read about plenty of ppl having that rewinding issue, including me.. maybe it's because you use a vpn instead of smartdns?

I will go for quality over quantity any day of the week yes agreed ajs is a one stop shop for sports coverage but in my experience its more trouble than its worth just a personal opinion. Quote:

I to have tried starsports with the same results and yourself I do have cable 120 meg and i makes no difference with ajs I have no issues with plp its perfect but its nothing to do with my connection being cable i just think its a better product and they don`t use adaptive streaming which i think may help. Yeah that adaptive streaming is really awful.. basically nobody uses that shit. Netflix does but you can adjust it with a hotkey command.. I hope they will eventually drop it.

I subscribed to JSC online at the start of the season & all in all it's been a waste of money.
I'm sure there's lots here with the same opinion. |

You could say that Manc-Red you may get the odd day when it works correctly if your lucky tbh there is no point having shed loads of content if you can`t watch it properly. Quote:

Luckily enough I'm not a smoker & the way I look at it this finances my Sky Sports, BT & Setanta pack. Weird way of looking at it, but it floats my boat! |
