Cardiff has to approve every big finish script and have previously vetoed BF using the Master & Davros too close to them appearing on tv. It's unlikely BF would be allowed to recast Romana if she was about to show up on television. Not impossible maybe, but unlikely.

Well Lalla Ward was asked back to the TV show but turned them down, maybe Landau will be playing the role on TV if the character does make a comeback.

I really can't see them casting her

I actually liked Dru's accent in Buffy, as the character was supposed to be crazy and having a really over the top accent fitted with that, in my 'umble opinion.

Though goodness knows if she can do a toned down RP voice. I suppose there is nothing stopping them having a Romana with an USA accent.
