CHVRCHES Appreciation Thread
I've been a fan of theirs for over six months now and everytime they release something new I create a separate thread about it so instead I thought I'd create an appreciation thread to post it all in.
![]() Here's their new video for "The Mother We Share" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mTRvJ9fugM Also their album "The Bones Of What You Believe" is released next month and is available to preorder on iTunes

I haven't heard a song of theirs I haven't liked yet, Lies and Gun are my favourites so far, best new synthpop band in years.

It's hard to pick standouts because it's so consistent but, of the new tracks, I particularly liked Tether, You Caught The Light and Strong Hand on first listen. |

No. 12 in the US album charts this week, might end up bigger in America than at home.

Probably more down to the fact they were just over in the US for a while.
Anyone going to any of the gigs next week? |

The Bones Of What You Believe is even better than I expected it to be, there isn't one song on there that I'm not a fan of and there definitely aren't any filler songs.

Agree about the album, it's a great listen. I'm not one to play the same thing over and over but already given it several listens. The first four tracks are my favourites. |

Just discovered them
Awesome. Love that 80's synth sound Lead singer is ludicrously adorable. |

Am very impressed with this new band. Made me dig out my old Sundays cd's. Maybe this sort of sound is due another run of interest.
