The rumours are starting to surface now that MS will be announcing a new game for Xbox One at Gamescom, take your best guesses what game you think it might be!

I think Crackdown 3, just based on the icon that was present at the unveiling, the fact it's part of Games for Gold at the moment and Phil Spencers comments post E3 assuring fans the series is "not dead".

It will probably end up being some F2P title instead lol

It will be Crackdown 3, they said it was shown in the reveal OS screenshots for a reason.

Lolz so unlikely but yeah I wouldn't say no! Some people seem to think another Fable but I don't see that happening at all, at least not for a while. I'm really crap at predicting things though.

Has it been announced yet what time the xbox one conference will be on at and will it be shown live like e3.

Looking forward to crackdown 3, hopefully that is the game that will be shown. Is it not normally a 2 year cycle where we got fable/halo release then the following year it was forza/gears of war? Gears has been replaced by titanfall.

hehe, so am I. Mainly because a lot of the games I like tend to be the games the masses don't like which means sequels are very unlikely.

Another game I would like to see MS bring back is Kameo.

I see Microsoft are heavily promoting Gamescom on the dash, where you can watch live streaming on Tuesday, there was mention of some exciting reveals so I think we might be in for a treat next week. Looking forward to more Forza 5 info and footage!

You guys will be lucky if they give you a solid release date for the system let alone any games.

I don't think MS are meaning the press event will be a live stream in that trailer. The impression I got was they would be doing live streaming from the show floor instead.

Conference is not being streamed live, media invite only. They were unable to find enough MS employees to be in the crowd and cheer.

They'll have heavy Ghosts coverage and coverage of games like last year - similar to the E3 coverage you get after the conferences.

There is no live stream, but Iíll be posting the news here on my blog and on Twitter using #Xboxgamescom

As the conference is in Europe maybe the lack of a live stream is localisation issues again

(adopts musical voice) "you say localisation issues, I say yield issues, let's call the whole thing off"

I heard that the Azure servers couldn't handle the load.

Seriously though, I think it's a really silly move by MS. It seems obvious that their PR department has totally lost control of the message and that they are too scared for a live feed in case of a bad show.

Sony on the other hand are free to capitalise on Microsofts failures.

Yeah, there's still live streaming though. Microsoft are holding a press-only event where they can get their hands on the latest games behind closed doors, we won't miss out on any of the announcements. I'm expecting some good news though, there's seems to be a snowball of positive steps since E3, looking forward to more reveals and hopefully further details on the self publishing Unity/dev-kit deal.

I hope they don't use Phil Spencer too much. He always looks way too cocky. I half-expect the Team America song "America, f*** yeah" to play as he walks on
