When it gets down to the final 2 players, it is the past players in the jury who cast their votes for who wins. So once someone is evicted to the jury (this season, from Candice onwards) they are kept in another house without outside contact until the final when they cast their votes.

Hope this helps

We should get to see a bit of the jury house now there are a couple of people in it. IIRC they usually show it on eviction night.

At first, BBUS didn't sequester their jury members (the evicted HM) but after Daniele's season where she blatantly lost due to the jury member's viewing the diary room segments. They started sequestering the jury members so that they didn't have outside influences on their decision.

If a jury member goes home & sees all the diary room segments & live feed they will know that someone has played them which totally changes their opinions. Plus HM wouldn't feel free to be as open & honest in the diary room.

The jury members vote for the final winner.

Yeah, Daniele Reyes is one of my favourite ever players and it was a travesty she didn't win. Jury members are only human and do tend to let anger and hurt feelings cloud their judgement - they still do even now. That's why someone who manages to get to the end without incurring too much wrath, as Ian did last year, is a worthy winner IMO.

There are still evictions and an interview with Julie (as with Candice and Judd). However, instead of going back to their regular lives, after that they're taken to a house in California and have to stay there, without outside contact until the end of the show.

Ian only won because he didn't ruffle feathers. Dan deserved that win for his gameplay. It was impeccable. Dan's mist is always great to see.

so the winners win by the HMs vote only? no public interference what so ever?

That's right. On at least 1 occasion I can remember the public have been able to vote for the winner too due to an ejection from the house after it had reached the jury phase.

The evicted housemates in the jury house get to ask questions of the final two housemates before the final vote. If you've ever watched Survivor, it's a very similar concept.

Thank god for the Jury voting and not the public, just think Jeff would have won two times and Frank would have won last season.... what a ghastly disturbing thought

Ugh Jeff Just thinking about him makes me mad. If ever there was a person's popularity that I just didn't get - it's him!

Exactly my point. Dan had a great strategy for second place - he admitted that himself.

I'm not sure that Frank would have won. I suspect Ian won the public vote and Frank came second.

Erm no, you have to be left at the end to have a chance of winning.

I still don't see how he won Americas vote. Frank was an idiot.

Something that irritates me, is how people have gotten furious over this season's controversy (rightfully so) including Julie, yet she still fawns over Jeff despite the bigoted things he said.

I suppose homophobic slurs are only bad when coupled with things like racism. On their own, some people don't seem to give a crap.

America also voted for Evel Dick, through Eric as America's Player.

Frank wouldn't have won, it would have been completely different. People evicted early wouldn't have been evicted when they were, and would have more chance of winning. Also, Ian was far more popular than Frank but he couldn't win the America's favourite vote because he was final 2.

Will the jury house be filmed and see how the HMs react with each others?
