Love Gina and Dexer - they have absolutely made the series for me. Gutted one of them didn't win but at least they made top 3 and will be the most memorable HMs from this series.

Anyway I've had enough of the negative, just want to say thanks to everyone who's been a part of this thread, a lot of you were Deana supporters last year so it was nice to see some familiar faces. I've enjoyed being a part of this thread, you've all been awesome and made it such a great place to post, especially away from the main forum of haters. I hope I'll still see you all around the forum. This thread has become like a family so its sad BB has now ended.

Most of all thanks to Gina because if she wasn't such an amazing housemate, we wouldn't have all gathered in this thread and stuck by her for all these weeks. So cheers to Gina and congratulations on 3rd place , even though for me and many others I'm sure Gina is the true winner of BB13!! (Along with Dexter) ”

Did anyone notice Gina's exit music last night? I think it was Lady Gaga

Just popping in to say well done to Gina. I was up and down on my feeling with her, but she was a terrific HM and I wouldn't have been disappointed had she won. She was obviously pleased with the winner and her friendship with Sam was lovely to watch, especially on Live Feed.

Well done to her, and I wish her all the best for the future

Morning fellow Gina appreciators!

Last night made me realise that even at the height of Gina's popularity, she wouldn't have won. She would have been the runner up but the winner was always going to be Sam.

If Dexter had won, I would have agreed that the Hazel issue cost Gina her win. She did lose some support which mostly went to Dexter. However this gained support, plus Dexter's already existing huge fan base couldn't get him the win either. This convinced me Gina wouldn't have won anyway.

I'll watch CBB, but they ain't getting a penny from me! It finally finally dawned on me that spending loads voting for your favourite is a waste of money unless your favourite is BB's secretly pre-selected winner

I agree I just loved the final three in the sense that they were the three I originally chose to be in the final, however when Sam was nasty to Dex I withdrew him from that list. I did not mind which order they came in although I would have liked the money to go to charity as Gina said she would do.Gina is probably back in her stamping ground a Savoy Suite and just loving it.

Gina's lost forum support definitely went to Dexter, but I don't think Dexter was liked enough by the casual voting public in the first place to pick up enough of the votes that Gina lost.

At first Dexter was always the one destined to be out first out of the Ginxter alliance, considering when Gina was approaching 40% in the polls Dexter barely had 20%, but during the final they were both hovering around 30%. It was the split vote that did us in in the end and it's a shame that the Hazel situation happened because as a Dexter fan I would have much preferred a Gina win to a Sam one.

There's definitely a lot of foul-play on C5's part. In the last week they made Gina go from hero to zero (obviously not in my eyes!) with the general public. It goes to show how easy they can manipulate the way the public think and it worries me how easy they fall for it. Will we ever have a deserving winner again?

Us long-term BB fans are the only ones that can see past it all. I just do not know what was going through peoples minds when voting Sam. Yeah, he's a nice guy, but nice guy doesn't mean great housemate. Which Gina was.

She is the only reason I watched BB this year, imagine it without her? sad she didn't win but very pleased she had a good reception, wish she was going into celebrity.

I agree I do think the Hazel situation dented her popularity and she would have come probably 2nd had it not have happened but I think Sam was always going to win . I saw a lot of comments on twitter such as I love Gina but she dosen't need the money so I'm voting for Sam .

You are probably right re the split vote. And re the polls: that's part of the things I'm going to take with a pinch of sodium from now on. Sam was barely even near Gina and Dexter in many of them (until the final weeks) yet he ended up the winner.

Anyway, I'm still of the opinion that neither Gina (nor Dexter) would have won regardless of polls, support etc. Sam appealed more to the casual viewers and younger (teenage female?) voting public, the latter of which was probably the show's intended voting target.

Exactly. Even at her height, she would have only come second.

Anyway, it's all done and dusted now. Sam's won. I guess the next civilian series' ratings and votes will let BB bosses know the damage (or not) that Sam's winning has caused.

I'm guessing many might not watch or watch with disinterest. Also, many might not vote anymore. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I definitely will not vote ever again, I went about 7 years last time I said this but their treatment of Gina has made me realise it is all a waste of money, I could have given the money to a deserving charity.

I know by voting it helped to get Gina to 3rd place but she should have won in a fair contest and it was nowhere near that.

I will probably not watch again and just come on here and watch the vids etc.

He was and there was absolutely nothing any HM could have done about it.

Remember when Gina came first on the 'who do you want to win' poll during the task. Sam managed to come second even though he had been completely invisible in the show for several weeks. All it needed was a little push by the producers and some careful editing to get Sam the win.

Aw, I hear ya YL
It was piss taking to the extreme this year with BB's manipulation. Gina got them the ratings and revenue they wanted then they started to turn the knife on her. Bunch of gits

I wish we really could hurt them where it matters ( the ratings and the phone votes ) but year after year I get roped in do it all over again

Anyway, Queen Gee was 3rd, she looked fab, had a brill interview and can hold her head way up high

I think the polls were a fair representation at the time. It was only in the last few weeks Sam rose to compete with Ginxter and that was reflected in the final, had the final taken place in three weeks ago Sam would have come 2nd IMO.

It's as if he knew he was going to win. He has been nominated for that award, it's just very suspicious. If I didn't know better I would suspect the production team etc had been voting for Sam

You know I haven't watched the show now for over 2 weeks because of the editing, I didn't even watch last night. I turned my laptop off after Gina was voted out and I didn't know that Sam had won until this morning.

I don't mind Sam winning but it wasn't done fairly and that is so wrong.

On a positive note, it was great Gina came 3rd and was top female.

Yes. Remember that odd little clip on the HLs where they showed Sam asking Gina if she'd ever known a deaf person before and she ended up going on about clubbing - it made her look really selfish and uninterested in him and his deafness, even though on the LF we'd seen the complete opposite. Gina had been the only HM who properly engaged with him in a serious and equal manner, yet you'd never have guessed this from the HLs (Callum patronised Sam like he was some kind of pet lol)

This is so true. I don't think Channel 5 expected Gina to become so popular, and definitely panicked when she continued to gain popularity.

At the height of her Popularity, she was always the one getting positive chants from the audience, including on BBBOTS.

What was interesting was how the Presenters always discouraged this, and tried to minimise her appeal. However they always praised the Twins and Sam.

Also the 'feud' with Hazel was very much manipulated, controlled and twisted....in an effort to destroy Gina's popularity. They always showed Gina slagging off Hazel, but never showed Hazel doing the same......even though it came out that she was the one who started slagging Gina off....whilst Gina was still in the safe house.

The Diary room entries were also highly edited, and taken out of context. For example, the diary room person would ask Gina what she thought about Hazel. Gina would give an answer.....but they wouldn't show Gina being asked the question. It was made to look like she had brought up Hazel.....again and again.....

It's only the discerning viewers who noticed this, but I agree that most viewers were definitely fooled and manipulated into seeing things in a certain way.

Gina was certainly robbed of her win as she wasn't their intended winner.......all very highly unfair.

I agree. You would think that they would at least value those housemates who brought so much to their show....but no!

They are the ones they treat like rubbish.....whilst the Producers carry out their agenda of fooling and manipulating the public, to get their desired outcome.

The only good thing is that you can't take out the fabulousity of Miss Rio! She will go far!
