Agreed - I was surprised too in view of the number of detractors she has. I like Gina but have always said you don't need to like a housemate to accept they have been great housemates. There are a few that I don't like but will always acknowledge their contribution to a series if I think they deserve it.

She was a great HM this last series and the fact they continue to detract only proves it...

The host's attempts to rig Gina out of the game by putting her against Aisleyne are quite sad really.

What rigging? What do I have to gain by rigging it? Im not overly fond of Aisleyne either and she won the competition last year!

There are pairings together like Samanda & Jack Dee who are among my all time favourites and they are facing each other.

Agree with this. Don't really care how long an AT is or how many posts etc. After the show is over, I personally don't have the time nor inclination to keep posting just because.

It is quite funny really - they still have to PROVE (in my mind) that she isn't a fake as I have seen nothing to prove it either way. I can't even be bothered to post on it but read it just to have a laugh

What Gina allegedly was/is is not my concern. She was a great housemate and entertained me. She kept me watching, which was no ordinary feat for me as I was done with BB prior to her series.

All this she is/was fake bla bla has no bearing on me in any shape or form.

One thing that makes me laugh at the detractors is, in this day and age of social media, internet, etcetera, how come not a single human being has seen Gina coming in or out of her supposed council flat? How come no one has authoritatively come out boldly, with concrete evidence, to debunk her story?

Yes I know the media are supposedly not interested in Gina or any BB housemate, but who ever sees Gina in the alleged council flat (or has concrete proof that's she's poor etc) don't even need to go to the media. They could just do a tweet, put something on FB page or blog and the news would filter through.

Anyway, the detractors are the ones hell bent on proving whatever it is they want to prove. They obviously have plenty of time on their hands....:yawn:

Well, there is the electoral roll.

What are the chances of three people sharing a council flat in Islington named Georgina S. Reid, a Theresa B. Reid and a Sebastian Playa - when those are the exact names of Gina, her mother and brother.

Do you really need a photo? The odds of it not being her have to be astounding - off the chart really.

Plus, in all of those "biggest fake ever" newspaper stories, Gina was identified by neighbors by photo identification from the reporter as sharing the flat with her mother.

That said, I do like the Gina Rio character and appreciate the contribution she made to the show. She was a great housemate.

Everyone loves a good mystery, and Gina has given everyone just enough information to argue both sides of the issue.

I was answering a comment from YOU that said you had seen no proof - when there is indeed proof - real proof of the council flat. It was you who brought it up - otherwise I would have never commented on it.

My comments were directed at fellow Gina fans hence why it was posted in..The Gina's Appreciation thread! You are a known Gina detractor. That is the real fact. I doubt many on this thread are interested in your false appreciation of her or some proof you are hell bent on shoving down our throats. We don't care!

Your dislike and obsession with Gina are clear for all to see. That's your prerogative of course. But could you confine these to the MF, pretty please? If any poster from the Gina AT wants to debate Gina's alleged fakeness, we know where to find you guys. Yea? Cool.
