You know that is not going to happen. The reason you are setting that as a benchmark is it because it allows you to carry on with this repetitive behaviour indefinitely.
I don't know your background but for nearly three years now you have displayed clear signs of perseveration. I don't know the reasons for this as there are various causes but I do believe, with your above statement, you have long since reached a point where it's just not doing you any favours. I would urge you to just talk to someone about this. In person, not online. Either a friend or better still your GP, who may be able to refer you to someone who you can chat with in a professional capacity. It's just something for you to think about.
