What is wrong with the place? Someone buys it, it looks hopeful that this family or person is going to be a great Lord or Lady of the manor and then they always end up with a body on their hands or some kind of debt or both?

I really want some lady to own it next time round who's only crimes are sleeping through the men in the village, why can't someone actually own it and no hard times befall them, it would make a bloody change.

Lady Tara - whatever happened to her, Steve the sleaze would be a good candidate for an affair with Tara under Bernice's nose, once he's brought Home Farm from Declan the bore.

I agree. The dead body buried on their land is getting monotonous now. Remember the Wyldes?

So let's get this right:
the lake Shane was dumped in is on Home Farm's Estate,
Seth's buried there
Mark Wylde was buried there
Alex is buried there
No doubt there are some 'historical remains' of people who died a long time ago.

Never mind festivals, Declan could make a fortune from ghost tours.

Is Home Farm cursed?

Male owners all seem to meet a grisly end.

The death toll currently stands at:

- Frank Tate
- Chris Tate
- Tom King
- Matthew King
- Mark Wylde

All once owned Home Farm - all are now dead.

Ha, I was just about to say that too

They really do need to get a much better lot at Home Farm though. I can't remember anyone as bad as these.

@ Glenda - love the ghost tour idea

Chris Tate was very happy there in all fairness, life for him was a riot when he was tormenting every bugger in the village.

Not forgetting those who died there during the Siege - Viv's ex husband Reg and Alan Turner's wife Shirley and another gunman.

And Dave Glover a few years later.

Declan is horrible, hopefully he'll be hit by the curse in a very painful way.

To say nothing of Natasha serving a life sentence, and Carl and the younger King brother meeting grisly ends too.

Is she? Why don't I remember any of this? What happened to Maisie and Nathan?

I think once they hook Declan and Charity up, post Archie reveal Home Farm could become interesting again.

Well... now there's a story

Cain was worried that Ryan would be found guilty of Mark's murder. He thought Nathan had done it and Natasha was covering for him, so he kidnapped him and tried to torture him into admitting the truth. Then he phoned Maisie, told her what was going on, and Maisie battered Nathan with a plank of wood.

Cain left her to it, fetched Natasha and the little boy and took her to the barn where they were holding Nathan. Maisie was still going at it with the block of wood if I remember correctly .

Natasha confessed. I can't remember who called the police in the long run, but basically Natasha was arrested, charged and found guilty, and the last we saw of her , she was being taken into prison. Maisie was left to look after her wee brother, whose name I can't remember. Bruised and battered Nathan limped around the village trying to get back on side. I think she did grudgingly forgive him eventually, but I can't remember if they all left together or if Maisie and the little lad left separately from Nathan, or where they all went.

Natasha went to jail for shooting and killing Mark Wylde and burying him in the woods after she found out he was having an affair with his first wife Faye,

Nathan left in disgrace after it came out that he had framed Ryan for his father's murder.

Maisie and Will decided to move on and go and stay with relatives.

Cheers gal's and afternoon Jewely

Next question. Why the flaming hell don't I remember any of that Aside from the obvious Debbie wasn't involved in any of it
Anyone know the time frame for that storyline? Maybe I was away or something

I think the Maceys are beyond saving: They've tried two Macey family units and failed each time. They should start from scratch and bring in a new family.

The bully gold-digger Charity should be brought down a peg or two, not promoted to lady of the manor status. Declan can't whinge about being Katie's meal ticket then start a relationship with the queen of the gold-diggers.

Perhaps controversial but I remember a lot of speculation about Moira and Declan possibly hooking up. She could be good as lady of the manor but she may be too nice for it. Maybe Ella and/or Declan's dad could be recast also?
