wine advice please!
Husband's birthday next week and I would like to buy him a case of wine or two to enjoy in the evenings when he gets back from work.
However, I don't drink at all so have no idea what to get, and he doesn't have a particular favourite that he always gets. He likes Pinot Grigio so I'm happy to stick with that - any advice of a good Pinot I can get for him? Thanks. |

He only likes Pinot Grigio?
If it was a gift for me, as I am not a big wine quaffer, I'd prefer a mixed case so I could try different things without having had the expense of it myself. ![]() Have a look at Naked Wines. They usually have good deals and introductory offers. Very reliable too. http://www.nakedwines.com |

Nice and £4.99 doesn't compute. Maybe OK and drinkable , but nice?

Not that particular wine from Tesco but yes I have had "nice" wine for a fiver. Each to their own. The wine on Saturday Kitchen sometimes comes out at 5 or 6 pounds and their wine experts seem ok with it so why not me. |

I like £4.99 bottles just as much. If you like a £3.99 bottle, so what? You like what you like. Dearer isn't always better. |

I have taken people out sailing for a weekend and they splash out on £70+ per bottle when we go to a restaurant in the evening.
