Was brilliant . Chas was fantastic. I cried when Zak did his speech. Cameron is a loser .

I second the assessment.
Bloody brilliant.

Indeed, it was fitting that Debbie & Chas were whinging & crying all day, seeing as Gennie spent most of her life doing that.

A touching tribute from them both fair play, misery-guts Gennie would've loved it.

I agree, I cried too during Zack's speech and when Sam remembered Alice during the first episode. Great acting from all the cast, they were all fantastic. I do love Cameron though, him and Debbie are great together and I'm glad we have the old Chas back again, the glasses being thrown was powerful!

Yes, the second episode was well written and acted. Corrie looked poor by comparison.

Bit off topic, but why have they left it this long to make Nikhil an interesting character? I couldn't stand him for so long but now I'm almost hoping he returns in a few months.

As a relatively new Emmerdale viewer I have got to say it was just brilliant and I know that she wasn't a main character tonight, but, I especially liked Diane, she seemed to be a linchpin to all that was happening.

I have to agree, ED was good tonight although it's a bit rich of Chas to rip into Debbie, I can't stand Debbie but Chas did the dirty first, divine retribution springs to mind.

Yea, Chas was such a hypocrite acting like Debbie was a selfish, twisted cow - Chas is worse. At least Debbie doesn't pretend to be all nice - everyo neknows the score with her, whereas Chas acts like she wouldn't hurt anyone but really she'd do anything if it meant she was happy at the end. She did the same with Paddy, Dan, Gennie, and Aaron.
