I just love it how cats can just nonchalantly appear suddenly in people's lives. I wish one would appear at my doorstep one day!

Hundreds of cats looking for loving homes at cat charities

what really touched me was that it was the third cat the lady had visited to see if it was hers which makes me sad there's other cats out there missing their owners but they are being looked after by kind strangers

It wasn't my regular vet as he's on holiday so can't comment on how they came to that conclusion (as I know nothing of cats) but in fairness to her this cat being 14 is astonishing! Although it does explain how well trained and laidback she was.

Came home to some flower and a thank you card from Charlie so feeling chuffed and a little sad.

Been reading "A Street Cat Named Bob" by Iames Bowen, this afternoon. It's wonderful how cats can change people's lives for the better.

Absolutely LOVED that book. I now follow them on twitter and can see Facebook updates from them both which are both brilliant!

What a lovely ending, and what a lucky cat to have found you, so glad it worked out, nice to hear a good news story

[quote=Flubber.;67981453]No micro chip, called all the vets and homes in the area to register her. Vet says she's not yet a year old, clipped her nails and bought some cat food.

What a rubbish vet. 14 year old cat deemed to be a kitten less than a year old!!!

:”

But the owner said she's 14?

Glad that isn't my vet. I'd be a bit worried about his diagnosis skills

An old vet i used to take my cat to totally missed all his teeth being rotten and his kidneys failing surely for a vet with years of experience these arent things that should be missed. Glad i ended up taking him to the RSPCA vets as i got a few more years out of him. Lived to 2 months shy of 20 years old, quite amazing as Persian colourpoints dont last past 12 at best generally
