Im trying to use the metro app on windows 8 for netflix but every time i try to load a video it gets to 21% with the loading circle and doesnt get any further.

I can view videos fine in a browser but the app simply doesnt work and doesnt give an error so difficult to tell whats wrong.

Has anyone else come across this?

I tried it a couple of times just to have a look and I find it don't work here. So I gave up. If I watch anything from netflix on my desktop, I now use my browser in windows, but you will have to install silver light, otherwise Netflix keeps asking to use the metro app.

Ok, I tell a lie, I just tried it again and it works now. I have reinstalled windows since the last time I used it mind you.

Never worked for me, I believe it's ATI related (or at least for me it is), in the error logs I see:

Never really cared enough to try to get it fixed as I can watch in Firefox or on my console which is what I normally do.

Its an NVIDIA ION graphics processor, tried with up to date drivers and old ones and same problem. Netflix support are going to get back to me as their online chat cant solve it currently!
