Two questions - Has Lesley Dunlop really shaved her head for the role? And Sarah has been wearing a wig for ages now - I know her character was ill, but I just wondered whether something had happened to her in real life?

Wow, I can't imagine many actresses actually shaving their heads for real, especially as there was no real need to do so- makes it more realistic though I suppose.

I dont think the little girl who plays Sarah shaved her hair ...but her hair was quite long so either they will cut it shorter before taking off the wig or maybe Sarah will leave with Debbie for a while and come back with it as normal .

Poor baldy Brenda, felt really sorry for her last night.

I guess Bob's heart was in the right place when he bought her all those wigs - but I couldn't help thinking he'd have been better off buying her a Union Jack tee-shirt, braces, skint-tight bleached Wranglers, and a pair of 20-hole Doc Martens.

She'd have looked great.

With Sarah I would have thought by now the characters hair would have grown enough for a medium-longish bob. When we saw her without the wig a while ago they showed her with quite a lot of hair.

I wish she'd worn a scarf or wig to the funeral, the shaved head look really doesn't suit her.

I'm not sure you've quite got into the spirit of this, Q.

I've been singing 'Pretty Vacant' to myself ever since I made that post OJ.

Lesley Dunlop shaved her head, as did Jeff Hordley when Cain had a head injury a year or so ago. I wouldn't think they would expect of a child though.
