I have loved this series, definitely the best of Channel 5 and quite a few Channel 4's later efforts where they were quite obviously just going through the motions to get the contract done

The addition of Live Feed was a good move, now it's shown sustainability (online at least) hopefully it will be extended.. Strong group of housemates, I think made stronger by no additions to the house

Viewing figures have been very, very good and will hopefully help to keep civilian BB going past the 2014 contract end

Slight negatives, how Hazel and Daley turned out, manufactured by BB pairing them up for the safehouse knowing full well the viewers were going to vote them in, a lack of straight forward, diary room noms

And something I never thought I would say when it was announced, great presenting team.. Emma has been infinitely better than Brian doing the lives and has continued to be good on BOTS, Rylan and AJ have really got into their stride and I can now watch BOTS when Emma doesn't appear, think Channel 5 actually made a great decision on the 2013 team

So overall well done Channel 5 and Endemol for BB 2013

It started well with Emma as the host, Secrets and Lies as the theme, and Michael as a mole. There were some interesting characters like Dan, Dexter and Sallie and I liked the idea of mother & daughter.

It went downhill for me with the fake Charlie/Callum/Dexter storyline. It looked like an ongoing task and it bored me to death. I like what Dexter brought to the house but I blame him for the stupid 3some idea. He had more feelings for Dan than he had for Charlie.

As for the theme, I think BB has failed to deliver after the first week. In fact, they lost big time with Dan being evicted following one of those lies.

I agree with this - good suggestions for things that could have been fantastic.

The best feel to the series in years. Great back to basics feel and working for luxuries in general. The cast felt more normal for once, yes still players and attention seekers but they felt less zlister and desperate for fame. It's been more 'real'. if your gonna have gimmicks or wallpaper at least have characters like hazel with some bite. The bed room layout has been ideal, it's not as militarism which I like. The Br is an escape they shouldn't be in each other's faces all of the time we don't want constant tension. The kitchen encouraged more socialization, as its normally the dominated area by the cook that controls the house, it's shape encouraged an equal environment. The Dr location was ideal for private chats and tasks, the open stairway felt less experimental, the garden was well designed and felt more natural, the smoking area felt more inclusive then normal which was nice they're normally the outcasts having it near the door prevented a segregated group forming. The vegetable patch and mangle etc was a good addition but needs to be used by older hms imo.

Criticisms_ extra LF especially pre eviction footage, maybe even a live Saturday task again. The tasks are poor in general, the pause task was the decent one that stands out but over all the task seem to get poorer. We need night time tasks, trying tasks for group interaction and one on ones it provides a different element then the same evening footage we always get.funner tasks are greatly needed, yes we like the buzz task or the chilli task etc for a reason, they are favoured because they're fun we need more. Less short shopping tasks, these need to be hard and weekly! But small tasks daily for individual hms like the titan task or the talking draws etc. The hms though good as a group they weren't very likable individually, we need Dexter and Gina types but the show is in desperate need of some fun characters, it's all just constant negativity and its too much. we need older hm, all of the entertaining hm are older sorry but a few years makes a big difference ie Sam, Sophie etc they're too immature and they just disappear. None of this token old crone that acts 20 with no male to bounce off etc. also a slow boil is better, avoid an early explosion simply for first night ratings, I'd also stop first week evictions we always lose a big character. The pool was wasted this year, in needs to larger but given as a reward early on. Also the outside shower was a miss, it's only for male viewers. Work for it but not necessarily outside. Bring back the chalk board for shopping tasks as it creates drama, you aren't likely to get a back to basics feel if your using technology etc. Please, I want them to mute the eviction crowd and have no outside influence and info within the house as it gives certain hms unfair advantages and influences the SHOWS outcome. Less nightly alcohol too, what is it on tap? Charlie is constantly pissed. Overall good series, but died 2/3rds through because of constantly the same negative mood and dislikable hms remaining.

I'd rather no double acts ie mum and daughter, husband and wife, identical twins etc. It's an unfavour advantage imo and dull. If you are gonna experiment go similar but opposite if that makes sense ie. Different gendered twins, different identities, friends etc and see how they click but similar ages to still relate unlike mum and daughter etc.

Going to add something now it's completely over -

Sam is the worst bb winner ever imo so a dissapointing ending to a good series. Gina and Dexter should have been final two as they are both classic hm's to me. But overall a great series that I have been very involved in, just a shame about the winner.

By far the best C5 series and in my top 5 of BBs despite the lackluster finale.
