Why is it that they have a 10p connection charge on their calls to other networks?

Is it so that they can afford to have the best network coverage available?

I would say its because they expect the majority of calls to last longer than a few seconds...therefore the minimum charge is hidden (if you get what I mean?)

However, Vodafonfe offer the best service in the UK at the minute, so I would be prepared to pay such a minimum charge in exchange for this.

Well i think they are the best service too but the prices could at least be a little cheaper i mean 10p minimum call charge is bad.
