I am having problems with the Bt sports app for android tablet , when I try playing the video I get the fault code vc011.
I checked there web site it was no help at all suggesting that you delete the data in the app and so forth ,its worse than useless.they blame the device stating that it must be running jelly bean 4.1 in order for the video to play.
I have upgraded to 4.1 jb and it still gives the same fault vc011 please upgrade your OS , the funny thing is my android phone plays it and it runs android i.c.s 4.0.4 fantastically well .

It does not matter what tablet it is, the requirement for the app is that it is running jelly beans 4.1.
So to cut the story short please don't suggest that the tablet is not capable of running BT sports as it has no problem running bbc iplayer, Netflix, and anything else that I have tried on it.
It's the scroll excel tablet.
As I said it runs on my phone with its 4,0,4.
At a guess I would say it's either drm or a hardware issue, so BT let's have more information other than it must be jelly bean 4.1.

I run the BT sport app on IOS and OSX and it was fine on 2 x OSX and a I pad but refused to run video on my i phone.

I was browsing a Mac forum and a poster flagged up a IOS fix that worked for me. All I did was change the 12 hour clock to 24 hour in settings and the video worked
Sounds daft I know

A bit harsh really, the type of tablet could help others diagnose what your issue is. A lot of cheap Chinese tablets including some Scroll models come pre-rooted from the factory which means apps like Sky Go (and maybe BT Sport?) won't work. Is the tablet rooted do you know? There are apps in the market which will help you check.

Remember you're not talking to BT, you're talking to a forum where others might be able to help with a bit more information, especially if they own the same model tablet as you.
