I don't use sex toys. Never understood the appeal.

I don't think they should be out on the shelves where anyone can see them tbh. If pornographic magazines are put on the highest shelves and now often with a cover, the same should be done with these.

Are women not a bit embarrassed buying these things!? It's like a man buying a blow-up sex doll.

It depends what it looks like, if its in the shape of a certain body part than its not acceptable at all.

I very much doubt it. Virtually all porn DVD's are R18's. Poundland wouldn't be able to sell R18's without being a registered/licensed sex shop.

Well I buy my condoms at poundland but of course I haven't seen vibrators there, I'm a bloke.

I shall look out for them.

They used to sell Black & White Sci Fi/Monster films some without a rating on, but took those off the shelves, the swines.

Fair play to Poundland, but has err..... anyone actually reviewed it yet if you don't mind me asking?

There's a little pic of it on UKhotdeals, it's certainly been rated 'hot' over there.

It looks like the real deal!

I typed Poundland Vibrator into Google and got a link from early 2010 from the Scottish Sun Paper.

If they have been around since then why the fuss now ? Or have they been hiding them in the clear plastic product shelves.

I've seen vibrators like this in a number of pound shops over the years so I can confirm that it isn't something particularly new.

As with anything though, the outrage is cyclical depending on whether it's a slow news day or not..

Since doctors used to use them to treat female patients with hysteria , I think a good old medical treatment is what mums net needs.
