And if he had mentioned it more vocally, no doubt you would say something negative about that too.

Can't do right for wrong for some folk.

He's giving away £25,000 to charity fgs.
Why do people expect someone with a disability to be more noble than the rest of us and do stuff for charity??
He says on his twitter that he earns minimum wage at Debenhams (classier than Tesco he says ) ... so could do with keeping some cash I suppose.

All this to give them 25 grand to a charity, most people go on a charity walk or mountain climbing to raise awareness and money he slept for 2 month.

So, as the winner of BB what did he say tonight to promote awareness for the deaf people?

Sam had the chance to speak about his disability and how he hoped it would make people see it in a different light and treat people with a disability in a different way...bit no nothing...all about how he didn't like Dexter...what wasted Opertunity there Sam

I didn't expect him to be noble, I didn't buy the poor me act from him, but he told his audience that he was doing this to raise awareness for the Deaf people, do you think he did that tonight?

I am not being funny but 25k to any charity is a huge sum of money of which the choosen charity will be thankfull for. He does nt really need to promote seeing he is clearly deaf.

Ugh! He's giving 25k of his own money to charity and what are you doing? Sitting at your keyboard saying 'that's not good enough'. Get a grip.

I didn't spend 2 month telling people a hearing guy ignored me, or I am doing this for my deaf brothers.

Stay on topic, we are not discussing me.

I hope he tweets the receipt. I wanna see what a £25K donation looks like after the £100K prize is placed in his bank account and he has a think about it.

For heavens sakes; he's taught deaf children football, represented Britain & Wales in their deaf football teams.

Last night was a blur and a very brief interview. I didn't see Emma ask him about which charities, etc. either. I bet it was all a bit of a blur for Sam, as it would have been for whoever won.

He's spoken about his disability and all you mention during the show ... and been slated for it.

Lets hope the job he wants becomes available to him - during BB he mentioned he'd like to work in the field of helping other deaf people.

He also said he would spend 50k to get a career!

Has no-one mentioned to him yet that careers are not something that you buy off a shelf. They're made through hard work and commitment. Sam just wants to earn money through TV game shows rather than because he is willing to work for it and his disability seems to be his beggest asset because the fluffy liberals fall for ti every time and start throwing money at him.

I wonder how much money Dexter would have given to charity?

He said to give him stability as he has no career. He's willing to work for it, he has a job and has been working. My word the nastiniess on here sometimes.

Lots of people go on game shows... they are all over the bloody telly.

Disability hate is on the increase - and I can see it's rife on here too. Disabilility benefits are not mean-tested - ask my daughter - and are given if you work or not (if you qualify), in fact the fact that they are being taken away and eroded slowly by this government has meant many disabled people have to give up work now they don't get the help they need that enabled them to work and pay taxes, spend money in this economy and be independent.

Did Dexter say he would give any to charity? What's your point exactly? Instead of trying to be snide and insinuate something why don't you actually try making a point.

Probably nothing, zero, zilch, but he never claimed to be there to raise the profile of anything or anyone, Just himself.

Sam on the other hand at every opportunity brought up the deaf & hard of hearing except when it would have been most appropriate to do so, as a winner.I am not interested in what Sam is going to do with the money, he is deluded if he thinks 50k is going to see him to old age, he has no get up and go in him to make that money work for him it won't last longer than 18 month..

Well it was a quick interview. Emma asked him questions which he answered. I don't get your point...

He can do stuff AFTER the show...
