I don't know if he will give any of his prize money away but if I was in his position I would have named the charity in the interview. What better way is there to raise awareness? His fans could then hashtag the charity's name to spread the word.

I doubt that he will give away £25k when he recieves the money and has a think about it. Desperate to look like the nice guy.

Why do people expect someone with a disability to be more noble than the rest of us and do stuff for charity??
He says on his twitter that he earns minimum wage at Debenhams (classier than Tesco he says ) ... so could do with keeping some cash I suppose.”

He was the one who brought up giving it to charity. But I suspect Dexter would be the one to be really generous

Lots of people go on game shows... they are all over the bloody telly.

Disability hate is on the increase - and I can see it's rife on here too. Disabilility benefits are not mean-tested - ask my daughter - and are given if you work or not (if you qualify), in fact the fact that they are being taken away and eroded slowly by this government has meant many disabled people have to give up work now they don't get the help they need that enabled them to work and pay taxes, spend money in this economy and be independent.”

That's not even a subtle strawman argument. That's just plain making stuff up about what I wrote.

I've deleted the rest of what I wrote here in reply. If you want to have a serious conversation replying to what I actually wrote then PM me. I didn't bring his disability into this at all.

Stupid thread really.

He's mentioned his deafness throughout the series and he said he was going to give some of his winnings away.

Well done Sam.
