if that was me, I'd be castigated for deliberately underpredicting.
Doc should easily get 8m in the overnights, possibly more on a rather cool and dark autumnal night. Plus it is up against Motorway Cops getting 2.5-3m on BBC1.

I guess he became a bigger star with the Saturday night primetime show on BBC1, but from very hazy childhood recollection, I think his Madhouse show on ITV was regarded as being better than the more middle of the road BBC offering. Not something you often find!
Better theme tune on ITV too, that Songs of Joy signature tune on BBC1 was naff.

I like the line-up, Natalie Gumede fills the Kara Tointon role as mentioned, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, I would say, is about as good as Kimberely Walsh, the general public know her and like her. Abbey Clancey and Rachel Riley are already all over the papers. Susanna Reid means Breakfast will talk about it all the time. And though the men aren't as exciting I reckon Mark Benton and Dave Myers will be really popular, they've got great personalities and people will like them.
And Brucie is still there, and Brucie is great.”
Strong female line up, but they have clearly struggled with the boys.
Not that it matters, folk will still tune in in their millions.
