I'm off to wipe my eyes from laughing at the mental image of throwing a sausage through a barn door!

Yes, my old labbie is leaking a little now, bless him.

Labradoodles are great, they don't lose as much hair as labs.
I still prefer labs though.
I wish I could change my name to Labradoodle,
At the moment I just share my name with a dead clam HM in that ridiculous BB14 we've just watched.

I dont think about it at all. But I suppose it does live with one and get known over time.
If I had known what I was coming to I'd have chosen something more apt, such as Her Maj or Ma'am.
Ho hum ! Ya live and learn.

I chose mine because I have a pug and he reminds me of a pig sometimes, curly tail and snorting.

I loved Lost and loved John - still miss it now.

My username is very boring - my first name is Jean and I just added the OJ at random - in view of a certain murder case, I now wish I hadn't
You're the second person to reference someone who went on to murder!

What a fantastic thread - thanks Rancid

I've really enjoyed it - such an insight into FMs and some hiLARious stories behind them And the trivia I've picked up will help my pub quizzing plenty!

Let's keep it going till CBB starts - I'm still hoping for a certain couple of FMs to come and spill the beans on their usernames!

I hate my username and then due to an nasty nasty virus on my pc I closed my account here and then after a couple of years opened a new one with a different name. Only to find my account was closed last week by the mods for having 'multiple accounts'! I was mortified and felt like public enemy number one!! Anyway, the mods have been completely fabulous and sorted me out. Unfortunately I am back to my old user name instead of Penny Pitsop.
Hope I'm forgiven.

Mr Tinks was considering a username for one of his Sci-Fi or apocalypse sites a while back and I still laugh at his stupidity:

Him: I'm thinking Syoban: Lord of Darkness.
Me: Oh, right.
Him: It's a real name. Syoban.
Me: It's not.
Him: It is. I got an email from someone called Syoban. Class. Syoban: Lord of Darkness.
Me: [looks at his PC] Siobhan. Siobhan: Lord of Darkness.
Him: What?
Me: It's pronounced Shevonne, pet.
Him: Oh.

How could he not know that?!

I don't regret mine yet but my molliepops (retriever cross collie) is 12 now and coming slowly to the end of her life, when she goes I know I will regret using her name and being reminded everytime I log in she is no longer with us.
Aww. We had that problem with the log in details for one of our accounts. We had to pick a pets name (Wee Jude) and mother's maiden name (Burns). Was a bit shitty logging in WeeJudeBurns every other day after we had to have her PTS and cremated last year. The unfortunate surname makes it in awful poor taste. I can be flippant now - and I quite like the wee reminders of her actually - but for some months it was tears and snot everytime I used the account.

Really!

I'm sure it's because YL has indeed got a beautiful yellow labbie

Mine is from my 2 favourite fruits, how boring lol
Not at all. I love your name. It reminds me of Xmas for some reason. And if I ever realise one of my dreams of starting a business selling Pretty Things and Nicnacs for the home I'm nicking it for the name. My other dream is running a tearoom. All twee with mismatching china, cakestands and homemade jams and chutneys - Sally Cinnamon's (Stone Roses inspired).
I sometimes wish I'd picked that for mine.
You and me both - I would love one of each colour but my own lovely choccie one is called Phoebe - wish I had chosen it instead of stupid Frillynix.
Love your name too. Your posts and username suggest you're a damn smart lady who doesn't take herself too seriously, no pretentions.

i remember asking you weeks ago if you liked malt loaf! i get a pavlovian response everytime i see your username, i start salivating..... haven't had malt loaf for years but i can almost taste it at this moment!
I get that with chip_buttie. I'd put him/her on ignore to stop the damned cravings but I usually agree with them too much. I can almost taste the salt and vinegar when they post.

the 'X's are just little kisses at the end (im not sure why i did that)

Thanks for the thread not-very-rancid-but-actually-quite-lovely-beings. Great read. You should just be bold and speak out about the ones you're curious about. They may be happy to divulge if they know you're interested.

Not sure why I picked mine. It's daft, is a bit meaningless and if I could change it I would but I don't hate it that much. I think it's kid inspired. I usually use my kid's first names for log ins, etc (how dreadfully dull and unimaginative) but I didn't want to use them here. I think I might've gone through a phase of calling them wee tinkers that summer. Odd choice as I don't use the phrase terribly often. It did not occur to me it may be offensive to the travelling community. :-/ I'm often called Tinks which is grand. Wee not so much. Although it is quite fitting as I'm titchy.

Like I said earlier, I did change mine and ended up in a whole lot of trouble with the mods I like to think of you as Tinks.

I wouldn't even try - I'd have to pay another fiver. I still resent that fiver I had to pay when I registered.

Rancid or RB as i sometimes refer to you as (hope that doesn't annoy you) What a fantastic thread! It should be pinned

Monkey is the nickname my OH calls me. I have strange, extremely flexible feet I use them like an extra pair of hands and can fold them backwards. Nice mental image I've painted for you huh

The number 13 is our lucky number and we were married on Friday 13th.

Salt & vinegar frisps were wonderful. Didn't they have an ad were two crisps were dancing to 'It started with a crisp (kiss), never thought it would come to this...'? I hope so cos that's what pops into my head when I see your username.I hope it's not something I just made up.
