We were talking about Flit last weekend. Mrs S couldn't remember those rusting cans of DDT under the sink with the long pump handle.
Sprayed all over the kitchen, even at mealtimes. It's a wonder we didn't all grow extra appendages and stuff ![]() ![]()

Morning, kids. It occurred to me last night that I'm several days behind on CBB now and, I don't care. Still keeping up with BBAus, and that's doing quite nicely filling the post-BB void.
Still haven't caught the end of GBBO, though I saw far enough to see the custard incident (insert Law & Order bong bong noise here). Fell asleep about the time they were looking dumbfounded at the idea of a quinelle...have these people not ever watched Masterchef? |

They don't have that effect on me, strangely enough; I think I may be immune as I was dosed with syrup of figs on a weekly basis as a nipper. I can eat half a dozen without any peristaltic acceleration.

And there in might lie the problem. I had stuffed myself with about 30 in quite a short space of time - maybe 90 minutes. And my tummy felt like it was doing an asymmetric bar display. I like to think my pipes were nice and clean for a bit though.

30?
A figgy piggy ![]() ![]() I was reclining on a sunbed on my terrace with these succulent fruit all around me feeling like a Roman Empress and I couldn't resist their succulent lusciousness. I paid for it - but cheaper than colonic irrigation with I suspect much the same effect. Actually you inspired me. I popped out earlier for a few figs and treated myself to a lump of Manchego to go with them. Now I am just deciding between tempranillo and Rioja to accompany and my evening is sorted. |

I have piddled about here and there. I just quote Noam Chomsky on one thread (well in a subverted sort of paraphrase). I am expecting a sighting of the greater spotted whoosh imminently.

Try setting 'temporal interference' to 'off' This is in the instructions, only it's not visible except during a particular conjunction, with much waving of fronds *at penalty of tootling my own, please find the full description at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oblivion_Bar |
