Ooh I don't know.

In a way though I think a fresh one every day, with a new topic could work real well. It's amazing how the new respondees wane as the thread establishes, like.

I'm happy whatever though - just be nice to have a safe place for the ensuing storms!
That's the one and only thing I miss about the old CH4 forum ... the Big Brother Off Topic Section. It was perfect to escape to for a breather and recharge. I know there's the GD and wotnot here but it's just not the same

I've just spotted a username on the board that I love, love, love. Phyllis Stein I get the pun on the name but every time I see it I still get that feeling of a razor sharp old Jewish Yenta
Yes, it's a good one, one of my favourite usernames.

Unbelievable! I leave my laptop for 2 minute and the discussion ends up in the toilet! After all the sad talk of our love of pets etc this has cheered me up no end!

Strangers are only friends you haven't yet met........I saw that and my heart nearly stopped, for my dear old Scottish Mum used to say that to me often.......one of the many.......as well as........You can only wear one pair of shoes'.........

......I have lived by those, and can confidently go into any room of strangers and not feel uncomfortable, because every one of us has a story to tell.......and by.......some of those stories are so interesting.......

.....back to my cup of tea and memories of a lovely wise Mum........
Awww Mums eh, I have tried my hardest over the years to live my life by my Mums values and if I end up being half the woman my Mum was then that will be good enough for me, she was amazing, I just wish I had told her that more often while she was still with me Treasure your Mum and Dad, they wont be around forever.

Couple of hours but I might be a bit delayed. Got to wait in the bushes for *whispers* planets to leave first so I can sneak in and nab her truffle cake. Don't tell her though

I hate my username. I find it to boring and wish I had of made an unusual name up rather then just my own name..lol. There should be a way where you can change it.

I felt it helped by reducing the hostility and animosity as you had more chance to get to know and understand some people better. I'm sure there was none of that carry on, on Genes though

Oh yes, sorry to say that we had our fair share of WUMs and oddballs on there as well........FMs here are pussycats to some nights on there......

The best one was Weightwatchers........now you would think that a bunch of nice overweight ladies would be charming, wouldn't you.......but, oh my........I swear it was the lack of food that turned them into witches......
