A club sandwich!

(When are you going to pop into the book forum and have a go at the literary games? It's about time and you could deploy Rebel Angels!)

You can count The or A or put them in brackets. Whatever is most convenient.

Think the Inimitable Jeeves was the first in the series followed by Carry On Jeeves. Most of the books in the series are short stories. Summer Lifhtning is, thinking again, the first in the Blandings series, although the Psmith books criss-cross it.

The Velodrome was used for cycling but it has always been football first there.

I have got a load of old green, crime, and purple, biography, as well as red, current affairs. Just not seen My Man Jeeves; it may have been retitled.

from wiki :
"My Man Jeeves is a collection of short stories by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the United Kingdom in May 1919. Of the eight stories in the collection, half feature the popular characters Jeeves and Bertie Wooster, while the others concern Reggie Pepper, an early prototype for Wooster. Several appeared later in rewritten form in Carry on, Jeeves (1925), such as "Helping Freddie", which in its later incarnation was called "Fixing It for Freddie" and featured Jeeves and Wooster. The other Reggie Pepper stories were included in the U.S. version of The Man with Two Left Feet (1917)."
