Very brave !!! My sister was on Eggheads recently ... and no way did I want to go near any forum to see what was being said
I know what are we like. I put myself up for it as I really don't care what folk think. You arent going to please everybody! My husband, kids and dog love me as I am. I am no supermodel but I got a laugh when some lad said that "he would!!!" At my age I will take that as a compliment!

Haha yes I love Bradley that's why I wanted on the show. He is just as you see on the screen and a total darling. I got a kiss and everything!

I went on it cos I had been ill for a year and I promised myself if I got better I was going to do something completely out my comfort zone! I got The Governess- God she is scary!
I met him at my mother's GP surgery and was very star struck! She had to drag me away muttering 'nice, lovely, brilliant, to meet you'

Well done you for doing so brill after an ordeal! If I ever did go on there I'd want any but The Governess

Some amusing posts in here!

When I first started using the internet, back when I was little me, I was a big fan of Muse and my name is a Muse song. Even at the point I registered here it would have been years since I'd listened much to Muse, but I guess I tend to have a few things I'll use for login type stuff and I generally just use them. Though those days are long gone, I do still love this song and it's title... and more since I've used it in internet world for so long I don't even think of it much in the context it arose - it just feels natural to me.

I often get called things like spiraltastic, which while being an invented adjective that sounds quite fun, also sounds pretty daft. I don't mind my username though. Interesting how you do get an impression of someone from their name. I guess it goes once they type a post though.

I am, in part, more curious about the fact that some of you seem to own goats and lillies and so this thread now has me imagining you all living in fairytales.

Just something a little light-hearted and friendly in the BB Break...

Do you regret your username? Have a weird reason for choosing it?

Is it BB related?

What do other usernames makes you think?

Personally, I MASSIVELY regret mine. Many a poster has referred to it when trying to say I'm a meanie, when in fact it was an ill thought out play on words of Evelyn Waugh's 'Vile Bodies', which was based on the idea of people fit only to be the object of experimentation. I thought at the time it would be a good BB username. Silly me.
Ahhhhh.......but rancidbeings........you would have to have a modicum of intelligence to decipher the logic of your name.......Although an admirer of the writings of Evelyn Waugh.......mostly penned from actual people of his acquaintance, I have never read Vile Bodies.......and will have to see if it is on Kindle for my next holiday......

Had to look up Ad Hominem's ........ and sangreal, I knew as royal blood........mine......Sunnydays, was the only one I could have.......all the others had been pinched and DS refused them.......most know me as Moonchild......

LOL

I could handle it if it was myself, and would expect nothing less but it would have destroyed me beyond belief to hear anyone saying anything bad about a loved one

I just thank god none of my family watch BB and never likely to end up on it

Aw thanks! Can I also add that I don't know if you can really see it on screen but he has the most gorgeous bum (can I say that?) I couldn't keep my peepers off it

If you see him at the surgery again try and get a sneaky peek. You will be smiling for the rest of the day, if not week!

Because you're open to suggestion... ?

This is the thing about having my username - I totally see how other people conjure up ideas of people just like I do, and mine obviously makes me sound like an evil, scowling, sneering type!

I wish DS would let us change names
No I like your username you would regret changing it..I don't think it makes you sound any of them things..I think it says you have a sense of humour..Patsylimerick I think sounds like a country girl as in, Patsy cline & the irish connection,!
Frillynixs makes me think of a young minded person with a little girl who has just that, Frillynixs Short for Frilly knickers!
Yellowlabbie, sound's like a home is where the heart is kind of person! I bet i'm not far wrong!

Bloody LOVE Muse. I'm pleased you explained this as reason for your name cos I can now hopefully erase the words "Spoiral - I'd do anything to you" from my brain every time I see it

I always wanted to own a yellow lab from being very young. A friend of mine had one and he was the most gorgeous thing. It took me another 30 or so years to own one He was worth the wait.
awwww............they just have such expressive faces (soz for going off topic)

Back to usernames lol...............I wanted something that sounded feminine but I actually made myself sound like a bit of a tart!

I know I couldn't do it. For one it takes my face too long to fall into shape in the morning! Also I couldn't bear anyone from my wild University and working days doing an exposé on me lol. My husband thinks he's married to and angel and to my son I am Mother Teresa! Think my girls have my number tho. They want me to go on it!

One of my sons had come home from nursery school with a drawing of a panda and my husband remarked later that it looked like me with all my eye make-up all over the place the first morning we ever woke up together.

I was walking past the framed drawing when I was thinking of a DS username
