On a thready note - this has been fascinating to watch and participate in, how it's fluidly changed and moved from one subject to another, often on a chance word; people dashing in and out for breathers etc, multiple conversations at the same time - like a coda to your 'Secret Life of Threads' thread a while back.

I sort of visualise it as part of some sort of insane solar system, only with a little more chaos

I hope it does last a long time, and becomes another of those historic tiny oases in DS.

and just for once I can breathe easy and say 'not me guv' I've been a good boy today (mind you, I never check my post count, so wouldn't have a clue.

seems to !! i don't normally notice post count but coming up to the 2000th post on here i noticed i was two away from 8000 then i went into another thread and it reduced dramatically

I have noticed that if you make multiple comments on a single thread the post count doesn't appear to move. I don't know if it counts them up later or not because sooner or later it does change but all my posts on this page are number 1933.

Maybe they'll turn up in the second post. Except it's a Bank Holiday tomorrow! I haven't got any to lose.

In between my writing a post and coming back to the thread, your count went up from 1934 to 1935.
