That's Bank Holiday Monday. That means only shop staff are likely to be at work, factories, offices and of course schools are off.

As it is August there is no school anyway. Plus for office workers it depends on the industry, some office workers work on bank holidays to either reduce work load and hence have reasonable work hours during working days or look impressive by doing more things in a given space of time. Furthermore there will always be some members of staff such as receptionists.

Shop staff only exist to serve everyone else, of course. Why should they be entitled to a day off, when there might be someone who is in dire need of doing some shopping and can't wait until Tuesday?

Unless you live in Scotland, in which case you're plum out of luck if you want to watch it as it airs. No holiday and the schools are already back.

I listened to this when it was live on the radio but it was so frustrating not being able to see what was going on, although the music was brilliant as always looking forward to this, hopefully it's included on a future dvd too.

Obviously a bit of a recording gap between Matt & Jenna's outdoor scenes & the scenes inside the Albert Hall, judging by the length of Matt's hair!

Wonder if Mr Capaldi will continue the Doc's 'involvement' in this sort of thing in the future?

Loved it, even the singing from The Rings Of Akhaten.

The scene with the Doctor and Clara was good and quite funny, The Doctor didn't seem that bothered with the buzz cut.

Some of the newer music was more memorable than I realised. Especially Clara's theme.

Nice pre Murray Gold music included as well, Tomb of the Cybermen being a particular highlight.

I never really notice the themes. At least not consciously.

I really enjoyed that

I enjoyed this too. I liked the footage they used. The music was great, especially Clara’s theme which I have loved since the first time I heard it in her first episode.
