Has anyone any experience with these tablets?

Have looked at youtube reviews and it seems very positive overall.

Carefully check E-buyers warranty terms before deciding

I purchased a keyboard for my TF101, and when it became faulty E-buyer told me to contact Asus, which as it happened worked very well, but your tablet manufacturer I guess is in China, so could be a lengthy process. E-buyer will not offer you a replacement tablet. If you are happy with this go ahead. Of course you could be fortunate and have no problems

That sounds pretty illegal. The retailer is responsible for replacing defective goods

What budget do you have? What do you want to do with the tablet.

I've an MS Surface Pro and a £100 android tablet and the android is fine for email, browsing/forums, watching films etc, you use free/home wifi with it, tether or use a dongle.

Basically to do what you do with your Android tablet and to take out with me - so I didn't really want to get something really expensive.

So I've ordered the Asus memo Pad HD7 for £120 from Currys/PC World. Battery life seems excellent too. from the Engadget review:

Our battery rundown test, which involves looping a 1080p video with the brightness set to 50 percent, ran for nine hours and 56 minutes. The new 2013 Nexus 7 gets seven hours and 15 minutes

An often weird sounding test. The new 2013 Nexus 7's screen is 50% brighter than old so should it not be on 33% brightness?
The HD 7 at full brightness will be close to the Nexus at 50% !

I doubt you can beat that for decent comparisons of the HD 7.

The HD 7 comes out quite decent, even for the screen.

Tests are just weird.
